I stayed for a week at the Masseria, and I’m glad I did. The Masseria del Carmine Maggiore 1817 is a former Carmelite monastery and farmhouse complex that was converted in 2021 to its present form, a working farm and a bed and breakfast with every comfort, and brimming with charm. My room was very large, with views of the farm and the courtyard. The restoration preserved all of the ancient features, combined with modern luxury. Modern bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very clean, with daily service. The Masseria has an excellent restaurant. The included breakfast offers amazing baked items, cheeses, meats and eggs, and coffee. The grounds of the farm provide walking trails all around the pastures, where you can inspect the vineyards, and appreciate the farm animals. There are Roman ruins to be seen on this property. An Ideal spot in which to launch daily excursions. There is a bus stop at the street and a local train stop nearby, but I had a rental car, and was glad I did. The entire staff at the Masseria is professional and friendly, very kind and helpful. Mrs. Grazia was an excellent hostess. Antonio on staff, who is retired from a career at the historic excavations at Herculaneum, was so generous to share his experience about the ancient ruin, of which he is completely and enthusiastically knowledgable on every detail. Ciro, the sweet pointer dog, a rescue, will keep welcome you. A wonderful respite tucked into an ancient volcanic crater.

Host was easy to communicate with. Very friendly and thoughtful. There is secure parking right on the property behind a gate. The AC worked great during an extremely hot period of time in Italy.

I had the opportunity to stay in this location for a single night in Pozzuoli and I have to say that I had a great time. The accommodation is simple but has everything you need. Besides the very gentle owner accompanied me from the train station and explained everything I needed to know.

Not many times in my life I had such an excellent experience like this. The hosts Maurizio and Debora were super kind, they were waiting for us at arrival, gave us all information about Pozzuoli and even cared about us during our whole stay. We could extend our stay some days with no problem. The house is very well equipped and everything is new and well decorated. We liked very much the location, Pozzuoli is beautiful and the house is near the train station what makes it easy to get to nice beaches and to go to the center of Naples. It is also walking distance from the port where you can take ferries to visit Procida, Ischia and other islands. We will definitely stay here every time we visit Naples.

The apartment was a good base to visit Campi Flegrei by public transport. It is clean, spacious and well equipped.

Lovely house in pleasing surroundings. Free parking very easy and plenty of space. Staff were delightful and most welcoming. Restaurant food was excellent and great value for money. Our waitress, Louisa, was fabulous and so helpful. We were only sorry we didn’t get to see her at breakfast before left for our onward journey. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this place. The host is great, and the apartment is clean and more than adequate for our needs. Air conditioning worked a treat considering it was 40 degrees outside! We both found the bed very comfortable. The apartment is well located between the two railway stations, so travelling out of Pozzuoli is very easy. Train fares are really cheap, too. There is a 10 minute walk from the apartment down to the port of Pozzuoli. Ferries are readily available and accessible to get about. We would definitely recommend the apartment and would like to return in the future.
