Surrounded by an olive tree park, Agriturismo la Scala is 5 minutes’ drive from Salò and from Lake Garda shores. The property produces its own olive oil and offers free WiFi.

Very accommodating hosts, very large suite, with modern furnishings, in an old farmhouse on Sara’s familial property. Our suite has a small kitchen with stove top, sink and fridge. The property is well maintained, and we enjoyed talking to the owners about their garden, growing techniques, etc. He walked us down the path to the lake front, being concerned that we wouldn’t find our way. It is a 10 minute walk down to beautiful lake Garda, with a very nice public beach right there. From the beach you can take an excellent walk around to Salo, an exceptionally beautiful little town. We had a delicious dinner prepared and served by Sara in the garden, on a beautiful summer night.

The host Paola is really nice and a wonderful person, together with her dog Happy. The house is absolutely beautiful and lovely arranged. Perfect location for the beaches, striving along the lake, mountain biking or even hiking. We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect also with a dog.

Had everything for a great week. Outside bbq/kitchen area was well used and if you love cooking then there was all the equipment you needed for great meals. Fantastic view of the lake. Also the 204 bus runs every 30 mins from the bottom of the road 5 mins from the villa into Salo and the Aldi was great and only 10 mins walk so we did not need a car.
