Amazing place! I can definitely see why it has gotten great reviews! Picking up the key was easy and the host was very friendly. Yes it’s a winding drive up the mountain so you need a car but that is part of what makes it so spectacular. Amazing views from the home! Mountains and waterfalls! Warm and cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. Comfortable bed. Fully furnished living room was so cozy after a long day of exploring Nicely stocked large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals …And a wonderful jetted tub! Only 2 of us so we never even used the two bedrooms upstairs but this would be a wonderful place for families or friend get together. Also has a washer so it was great to clean everything after a weeks worth of hiking! The town is close by ( about 10 min drive) so everything is convenient. Would recommend that you book this beautiful home in a heartbeat!

The cabin itself was cozy, it had two bedbunks, a little table and some chairs. The common kitchen and shared bathroom had everything you needed and were clean. Also we got free kroner to use the shower from the lady at the reception, because we didn't have any cash with us.

I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience this was. Not only did the cabin have everything you need to cook in, there is a pub on property that has great pizza etc. You can take away alcohol to your cabin as well as food. We did take away pizza and made our own salad in the cabin. the reception is very nice and helpful.

The light, windows and deck were lovely and the construction details make you appreciate Norway. The beds, pillows and comforters were cozy, the water was piping hot, and the wall heaters were plenty to keep us warm. The river from the back deck and the mountains towering overhead made an amazing ambient. We were traveling by bike, so the bike path with kids was also a treasure.
