Location was perfect (on a pedestrian street, with little restaurants and stores, but quiet enough at night). The apartment was perfect for a big family (3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with showers+1 with toilet only). Beds were comfortable, the apartment was modern and clean and all equipment needed to eat was provided. We loved having breakfast and dinner on the rooftop balcony. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely rent again if we come back to Funchal.

Susanna the host was excellent, personal welcome on arrival, lots of tips for shops, restaurants and trips on the island. A few nice gift surprises on arrival and during the stay. Very comfortable and clean appartment in a green oasis of quietness.

Beautiful villa in heart of Funchal. We loved the terrace for the early morning breakfast and even through we haven’t used the BBQ in the end, it is beautiful. Bakery and Shop behind the corner. And We have been parking our rented motorcycles in private parking in front of Villa. Owners are lovely and helpful, We really appreciate your hospitality! Just Amazing :)

The Appartement is super nice and beautiful. We had a great 14day stay there and loved it. It’s close to the city Centre in Funchal, which is very practical. The hosts are also super nice and always available if needed! Definitely recommend!

Lovely sitting on the balcony listening to the wind in the trees and birdsong. All very clean and the bed was very comfy, with memory foam bed and pillows. There are amazing hikes that you can do from the front door, such as PR3 and another trail up into the mountains. We enjoyed these more than other hikes in the area as they were so quiet- we only saw a handful of other people on them.

The Hotel has a great atmosphere, really friendly staff, and the rooms are lovely. We had a harbour facing room and you get a good view. There is a Hot Tub and Pool and sauna on the roof, all are clean as well as sun beds. it’s in a great position to walk easily into the town and opposite is beautiful gardens.
