We were extremely happy with everything. A car is useful if you stay here to visit other parts of the island. You can easily walk to Porto da Cruz and the beaches around. Helpful and kind property owner made sure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back.

Cozy and nice house in with nice views. The house, garden, location, views and pool exceeded our expectations. The indoor pool near the living room with openable doors and windows allows enjoying swimming in every weather. Very welcoming and helpfully host. Helped us with tips for our stay, locations, sightseeings, shops and probably everything that could be needed. Location with nearly all day sun. Morning sun for pool and evening sun for great grill area. Well-equipped kitchen. During our stay there was everything needed for first days for kitchen, laundry washing, dishwasher, coffee, tee... everything We can definitely recommend the house and Porto da Cruz for enjoying Madeira.

The best thing is the terrace and incredible views you see from there. The area around is really quiet and serene. The amount of space you get is also a pleasant surprise. It stood out to me that this apartment had everything you need to make it comfortable for living. The kitchen was so well equipped and really practical for cooking. I appreciated that the apartment had things like hair dryer, iron, plenty of spare towels, a washing machine with several portions of detergent. The apartment comes with a garage, which was also a big plus considering how stressful street parking on such narrow and hilly roads can be. I also really appreciated how responsive and nice the owner was. He gave us several recommendations and replied whenever we had questions.

It has much outside space as well, also to the back(upper floor) partly covered, with enough chairs and tables. A nice view from the upper floor. The kitchen is functional, and the bathroom works well. Between the garden and the street is a wall for your privacy. We really enjoyed our stay, it was above my expectation.

We only stayed one night between exploring other parts of the island but it was a lovely cosy bolt hole in the mountains, with everything we needed to cook up and relax for the night. The shower was also excellent! There is easy parking right opposite and a mini supermarket just up the road which was perfect for buying some food to cook in the place.

Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, the beach, and grocery in 5 min. You can serf if can or want. Amazing and cozy shared zone, with a fully equipped kitchen. You can join some events e.g. pizza night. My private room was good and had almost everything I needed. But I definitely will recommend Jaca Hostel for all who decide to visit Madeira.ArturSolo traveller
