Very hospitable host Ana, taking care of our vacations to be perfect (giving info about local atractions, welcome gift - super tasty eggs&lemons from her farm and wine). Great bio-swimming pool with very warm water (June 2023), green, natural garden with beautifull panoramic view. A lot of maps/brochures about local attactions (especially PR 1 STS - Histórico Pré-Industrial trail recommended). Superb location to explore nothern Portugal within a short driving distance (atlantic coast and beaches, Porto, Guimares, Duoro Valley, Braga etc.). Strongly recommended, perfect location for holidays!

The house was big so everyone could have their privacy. Beds were comfy. Dogs loved the outdoor space. It was just perfect for us. We will definitely come back again.

This place feels like a sort of homecoming.The beautiful gardens surround a familiar rustic house that unites tradition and the comforts of modernity (by the way, if you are an introspect or a writer, this would be also an ideal place for you to meet yourself or your muse!). The pool is awesome, particulary because it has salted water, making you almost feel like you are by the sea. You can also enjoy the silence. Important fact: it is all very clean. As a bonus, the owner is extremely nice and goes all the way in order to make you feel at home. So I highly recommend this house!

Everything was even better than I expected, although the expectations were already high. The place is beautiful, Mr. Abel was really kind and really helpful. I definitely recommend the place, and will be coming back for sure.
