This property is absolutely exquisite and a true gem. Not only has it been lovingly restored to its historical roots but they have beautifully blended modern and rustic decor. This property offers many places to relax, whether it is just outside your room, in an open courtyard, an indoor reception area, the well manicured gardens, or an upper patio overlooking the vineyard. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well decorated a certainly beyond and expectations we had. The food and wine are excellent as are the hosts’ company should you be blessed to spend time with them. You will have the opportunity to learn more about wine (if interested) of which they are quite passionate. Their wine is of exceptional quality and we look forward to finding it upon our return home.

Had everything we needed for a one night stay, kitchen fully equipped, including tea, coffee, and dish wash/washing liquid for the washing machine and dish washer. Owner was easy to contact and access to the property was made simple with a lock box. We could easily have stayed for longer. Thank you.

The building mix of traditional Portuguese and Japanese gives the place a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and the "magic" toilet was really fun! Both the jacuzzi and sauna followed by breakfast (kasutera included) was an amazing way of starting the day. The traditional breakfast was also really good and worth trying.
