The lodge is beautiful and the surroundings are stunning. Every day we saw giraffes and different types of buck, wither from our villa or on our way ito and from the lodge. We also loved the resident warthogs and the little meerkats (which we got to feed). The staff are wonderful and Axel did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable. The villa is beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. A lovely breakfast was served every morning and the whole experience was just amazing. Will definitely come back!

Lisa was warm and welcoming when we arrived. We stayed in a beautiful chalet overlooking the river. The view was amazing, especially during sunset. The chalet had been recently renovated and everything felt new and clean! Tastefully decorated and had everything that we needed. Great location close to Addo Elephant Park. It looked like a simple accomodation, but it was all but simple. A big dam provided ample swimming opportunities, an excellent outside and inside braai, ver comfortable bedrooms, a nice kitchen with all utilities, 24hr power, a dining room with a 1000 dollar view. And the host was lovely, she clearly is experienced and made sure we lacked nothing. Her attention for detail was astonishing, little things amazed us all the time.
