This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

We had the most incredible time at Klawerjas. The cottage is decorated so beautifully. The kitchen has everything you need and everything has been thought of down to the smallest detail. The rooms are stunning and so are the bathrooms. There is a hot tub and even a pickleball court with the mountains in the backdrop. Restaurants are close by as well as lovely wine farms like Springfield estate. We can highly recommend staying here

There are no words to express how amazing this cottage is. The surrounding farms are so beautiful. You are surrounded by olive trees, fruit trees and the amazing view of the Breede River. The frogs at night are so stunning. The place is so clean, comfortable and beyond and above what I expected. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone. Mostly the fact that they are pet friendly.
