Overlooking Oxtongue Lake, this cottage resort is 10 km from Algonquin Park. It offers on-site access to a sandy beach and a fully equipped kitchen in each cosy cottage. Lovely cottage, well equipped , warm, and clean. The location is great.

We enjoyed having the Bruce Trail Retreat as our base to explore the Niagra region. The location was good for the PEN centre and Brock University, both are about 20-30min walk, and was easy to take a day trip to Toronto from St Catherine's via buses. We hired a car too for exploring locally and had ample parking space on the driveway. I enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife in the garden a lot.
