Perfect location, tucked out of the way off the main road, with the most amazing views. The little cottage has everything you need inside. We absolutely loved the unique nature and character of the cottage. Highly recommend.

Struttura accogliente e posizionata a pochi km dal monte Kirkjufell! Di fronte al mare in assenza di luci artificiali abbiamo potuto ammirare la nostra prima aurora boreale ed è stato bellissimo! Abbiamo aperto la porta della nostra casetta e l’avevamo sopra la nostra testa che si estendeva lungo il mare. Il Sig. Marteinn è stato davvero disponibile nel venire incontro ai nostri orari. Davvero grazie! La colazione era compresa nel prezzo ma si ha la possibilità di avere una piccola cucina dove mangiare le cose che si possono comprare in un supermercato.

This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
