Food in restaurant very good - Austrian with fresh local ingredients such as Zander fish and Mai-Bok venison.Good base from which to explore the Salzkammergut area. Lots of walking / hiking / bike trails. Quiet - not in a town. We had a large recently refurbished room with a large balcony - very comfortable. Easy drive from Salzburg airport.

It was a real pleasure to stay there. The staff was excellent, just like the hotel and the room itself. We have stayed at a studio room with Mum, it was comfortable for the 2 of us, and also super clean. The condition of the room was also perfect. We had the room on the swimming pool side so it was a nice view from the balcony and very quiet at night. We could park the bikes behind the hotel where the entrance was locked at night.
