Such a lovely private peaceful setting. Ticked the most important boxes, clean, very comfortable bed, and fabulous shower. So well appointed with everything anyone could possibly need. The Rosellas and huge Cockatoos were a real bonus. Carmel truly is a really great Host.

    Pakenham Villa is a great place with very convenient location. Cozy beds with comfy stay. Definitely will stay in our next visit to Melbourne. Special thanks to Heinz for your excellent care and support during the stay.

    Breakfast was not bad but not the best at the Mercure.

    Breakfast was not bad but not the best at the Mercure. There is room for improvement. Even if you charge a bit more and have eggs, it would be much better. I would not have minded having scrambled egg or poached eggs. Don’t really care about bacon. Also some yogurt would have been nicer. The coffee was good and so was the raisin bread. The croissants and ham and cheese looked cheap. Not ungrateful but you guys should employ someone to make a better brekky even if it means charging a bit more for it. The place is really nice. Pakenham is a nice little town. I often take my mum there. Thanks :)

    The reception not being 24 hours wasn’t good.

    The reception not being 24 hours wasn’t good. Next time will stay in a single storey motel that the managers live on site for help anytime needed. The toilet was too high and you could have had a step stool to use it and I have long legs. There is no seating outside when you get locked out. An intercom would be good if you don’t have a phone when locked out. Sad sad sad.

    The hotel has brand new facilities and makes stay pleasant but downside -they don’t have fridge and microwave- not making sense why open hotel with no such facilities. Book at your own risk ⚠️- call service desk to confirm if they have fridge/microwave before booking
