We had such an amazing stay !!! Even better then I imagined ! The hosts were so friendly and gracious and we instantly felt at home . The property is so serene and peaceful , the room was very clean and luxurious . We loved paddle boarding , biking and loved swimming in the lake ! The whole surrounding area is just so beautiful , we had never been to this area before and will definitely be back ! The breakfast was SO good , I was very surprised at the amount of food and we didn’t have to eat lunch which allowed us to spend the our days relaxing and sightseeing . Eagles nest lookout was a highlight . Loved that the host incorporates veggies from her garden into the morning breakfast ! This couple really goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable, truly !!! We are already thinking about our next trip back ! Thank you again !

Fantastic place. Much bigger than I expected. The location was amazing as well, so close to so many hiking paths and lakes. The house also had tons of amenities such as cooking and bathroom supplies that I did not expect.

What I liked most about Deacon was that is was a small friendly town and Golden Lake is absolutely stunning. The Sands on Golden Lake is a great place for lunch and dinner with an amazing view of the Lake. It is just over an hours drive to Algonquin park.
