Property is conveniently located to main thoroughfare, a short drive to Main Street where the majority of shops and restaurants are.
Quiet location.
Owners were accommodating when we realized we only booked 1 night and not the two we needed and honoured our rate from Booking.
The shower in my room was luke warm at best.
The location was adjacent to a Dollarama where I was twice harassed and threatened by meth heads. Management rented the rooms immediately beside mine even though there were many others available that weren’t. I was subsequently awakened by a loud pickup truck on two mornings at 6 am. When I returned the key at 7:15 am there was a meth head smoking marijuana right beside a sign prohibiting such behaviours. Security is lax there. I didn’t feel safe.

The room I’m staying in was not to the quality shown in the pictures. The hot water didn’t work. The tub didn’t plug. The heater just made rattling noises every few minutes but gave off no heat. The door to hallway wouldn’t close all the way unless I put something heavy in front of it. Finally I was very close to the wifi router and the wifi would still kick out every few minutes. They also tried charging me more ($100/night more) then what was advertised when booking because I was staying over a holiday weekend. Overall it was not a good experience for me and I will not be staying again.
We didn't have breakfast unfortunately - but the rooms were super updated and the balcony was a beautiful added touch. The bed was comfy - and room felt homey. Just walking in to the main lobby was super amazing. The added door code to the main entrance was great. I didn't get to meet any staff. But we loved the room. If this hotel was in another area we would DEFFINITLY stay again; might take a trip to Hanover just to do so. Great price for an AMAZING Place.
Everything. The room was very large, the king bed was huge, the bathroom looked freshly renovated and in great condition. The check in system was easy, the bed was comfortable. There is a coffee machine, fridge and microwave.
We arrived very late into our 1 night stay, so our only regret is that we didn't get to enjoy the room for longer. Highly recommend this little gem of a hotel
We had the Library Suite which had a very comfortable lounge area as well as a small outdoor private grassy courtyard with a small stone patio with table and chairs. Lovely big bathroom and separate bedroom with king sized bed. Definitely a very comfortable place to stay in Hanover. Easy check in with personal access code to property and room.
Very peaceful guest house. The hosts were very kind and making sure everything is how we would like it. We could leave and come back freely at any time. From Hanover we had nice and easy access to the towns we wanted to visit, Kincardine and Goderich. We felt comfortable and at home.
Breakfast is not included. The hotel is very centrally located with lots around it and it is exceptionally well maintained and comfortable. We really saw no one except on our last day when the housekeepers/cleaning staff were in the lobby as we left.
The suite was so clean, we stayed at 2 hotels days prior and grey rose cleanliness knocked it out of the park. The bed were sooooo comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud.
