Удобная кровать, хорошее расположение, вид из окна.
Potsdam holds a pivotal place in German history. The country’s largest UNESCO World Heritage Site – Park Sanssouci – stands testament to the wealth of the kings and kaisers who once held court there. Yellow Sanssouci Palace is somewhat overshadowed by stepped gardens leading up to it from a fountain. A long path leads off at a right angle to the red-coloured New Palace, adorned with statues and a green dome.
Nestled in the intermediate grounds are the Italianate Roman Baths and Orangery, and understated Charlottenhof Palace. Trees hide the botanical gardens, while the gaudy gold Chinese tea house is unmissable. The park even has a grand train station and Dutch-style windmill.
Red gabled houses line the Dutch Quarter, and wooden houses characterise the Russian colony Alexandrowka. One of the city Christmas markets is in Weberviertel amid former homes of Bohemian weavers. Nearby, Filmpark Babelsberg is the world’s oldest film studio and Babelsberg Palace was a royal summer retreat.
In the New Garden by 2 of the city’s many lakes is half-timbered Cecilienhof Palace, where the historic, post-war conference between Churchill, Truman and Stalin led to the Potsdam Agreement and Declaration which shaped the face of Europe.
Booking.com’s Potsdam accommodation includes hotels near the Brandenburg Gate, old town guest houses and city centre apartments.

A very walkable city with good transport links to Berlin ( a S- bahn train every 10 mins). Park SansSouci was worth seeing,.
Lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries everywhere. Easy day trip from Berlin although an overnight stay would allow more time for a relaxed stay and to take in all the attractions.

Before I list the pros & cons, it is important to note that this review does not reflect Germany as a whole or other cities in Germany. I have not met Germans from other major cities so I simply cannot compare what I saw; however, my review is based on pure observation, and my intention is not to give a collective opinion about a specific nation.
Pros: The city is very clean and organized, hospitals are all over the place, and finally the stores, restaurants, and shopping areas are great.
Cons: You have to understand that this city is not for tourists at all. It is crystal clear that it's full of locals and it will be very rare to see any tourists around. The locals (who made it clear to us on several occasions are not in need of tourism), many of them see visiting tourists as a burden and not a blessing. Mid-aged to old Germans are non-English speakers, and young Germans are (it's fascinating how a full generation knows one language and the other doesn't). If you stop someone on the street to help you out, they rarely will go out of their way to do so. Germans lead private lives, it is an individualistic culture, and they get paid high wages so do not expect them to want tourists anywhere around their cities and neighborhoods. It is also clear that the majority do not care what type of impression international travelers have about their country. They see themselves self self-sufficient and that is the most polite way I can summarize my visit.
I hope this review helps, good luck.

The park is lovely to wander around, with grand palaces, beautiful gardens and art galleries to visit. The town centre and Dutch Quarter are worth visiting and also the Cecilienhof where the Potsdam Conference is definitely worth seeing.

Lots to see and historically all very interesting with beautiful palaces. Plenty of restaurants/ cafes and shops to wander about. The centre is flat and manageable. The Potsdam bus is a good way to see it and get around.
Staying in Potsdam has a more relaxing ambience than Berlin, but a day trip to Berlin and the hop on/ off bus there is within easy reach, if you research the links beforehand.

I mostly enjoyed Sanssuci park where I spent many hours in total bliss. did not have much time to visit the rest of the city.
I found out that most of the restaurants did not have menus in English and for the most part, waiters did not speak English and were unwilling to assist. One even said to me, "we don't serve tourists"!
it is easy to get around but not easy to get information in languages other than German.

Ideal for walking around.
Ideal for walking around. I visited the central places like the Sancousi Palace and Cecilienhof Garden. My hotel was also well suited to visiting the House of the Wannsee Conference, which I went to on my last full day. This is really worth visiting.
18th Century Villa in the Former East Berlin/German city of Potsdam
It’s fully updated to modern standards while maintaining minute details of the past. Reception executive lady was very helpful showed room keys opened gate and so on. it’s a clean facility and everything worked as promised. Bonus was car parking was free inside the property. Just 6 miles or so from Berlin Capital City. Definitely it’s value for money. If you have time please go through the documents and book they placed at the reception for historic facts.
We got a whole family apartment with its own kitchen, which was more than we expected. It was a very spacious unit in a separate building behind the main building. That also meant that it was very quiet, despite the tram and S-Bahn nearby. The front window blinds allowed for complete darkness so we slept well.
Breakfast starts at 8 and takes place in the main building. Interiors there are very stylish!
The staff is very friendly.
The location near S Babelsberg is a great place to stay to visit both Potsdam and Berlin.
loc on lake. still central. walking distance to all. tram great.
practical room, with even washing machine (though not easy to use), kitchenette, not tiny fridge ; ), not tiny shower, not typical small table, sofa, bed, big closets, entrance into hotel + from street in ground floor : ), all big floor to ceiling glass walls ; ) with curtains. table & chairs outside.
automatic doors at hotel entrance.
pet friendly ; )
friendly staff.
The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Although my sister and I stayed only for one night, it was a great central location for us to stay during our short trip to Potsdam. It is centrally located and there were great shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was provided. We had a comfortable stay here and I would recommend it to visitors to Potsdam.
We were traveling by train and needed to take the an S-bahn from the main Potsdam train station. Thank goodness for the signs at the wretched S-bahn station which pointed us in the right direction to the hotel. The actual hotel is situated right on one of the lakes in Potsdam. It was late when we arrived and we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant which was fortunately still open as there aren't any other choices in the area.
The location is perfect, 15 minutes to Sanssouci Park, 20 minutes to the city center (by foot). The train station is in 2 minutes by foot (the next building), from where 2 min to Potsdam main station, 7 min to Potsdan Golm and 30-45 minutes to Berlin (all by local trains). The room is large, with a huge windows from the floor to the ceil, nice balcony.
The sound isolation from train station is really good - no any noise.
The room was new, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is better than many hotels; the coffee was nice. The restaurant of the hotel was near the river. So it has a wonderful view. The location of the hotel was very nice. I was attending a conference at the Uni of Potsdam, so it was the best location for that.
Fantastically well maintained apartment in a superb location. The apartment was spacious with all the amenities one would ask for.
Potsdam center is easily accessible with the public transport. Sansoucci palace and park is close by too.
There is aldi, rewe and restaurants nearby
Modern, clean and with all amenities: the hotel and conference center is spacious, the restaurant and breakfast buffet excellent, and sitting outside at the lake in summer is magical. If you look for a weekend getaway spot close to Potsdam and Berlin, look no further.
The hotel has an amazing staff. The breakfast is excellent, with a lot of options and really good food. The room is very comfortable, clean, and complete. The location of the hotel is close to Potsdam Central Train Station.
The hotel stands in the center of Potsdam. It is very close to the central train station and public transport. Also, there is a big shopping center and a food corner at the train station.
We had a wonderful experience at this very charming hotel. The front desk gentleman was extremely welcoming and helpful with excellent recommendations.
