What a delightful find. We were looking for a base to explore the Erzgebirge and Goldener Stern in Frauenstein was an excellent choice. The host/owner was extraordinary with information about Gottlieb Silbermann (I did not know he was born in Frauenstein), the breakfast was exceptional with homemade pates, dinner was even better with local specialities, and the room was more than comfortable with special, unexpected amenities. We couldn't have been more satisfied.

This 3-star hotel is ideally located in the Ore Mountains, offering excellent opportunities for cycling and hiking. It features free Wi-Fi, a sunny terrace and daily breakfast buffet.

The staff was outstanding. We had a conference of 13 people. The staff went out of their way to help us arrange food and an extra room for meetings. The breakfast was very nice. Next time I would plan to eat dinners there.
