The hosts were the property, and were fantastic. The location was superb and very peaceful. Despite not doing evening meals, they went the extra mile and laid on a spread of meats, cheese and bread - including organising some beers and wine for us. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

This house was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and we loved having our own bathrooms. The host was very thoughtful and the location is lovely as it is right in the village.

Anso is a wonderful little village in the heart of the Spanish Pyranees. I did not have a car but there are wonderful walks starting and ending from the village. For those people with cars, there are easy day trips to the high mountains. There are wonderful restaurants in Anso - the Kimboa and the Marberal come to mind as particularly delightful. And if you have a car, there are bordas within 8km of Anso up the road to Zuriza that serve absolutely splendid traditional Spanish cooking in a rustic setting. I am 77 but if you are younger, the Grand Route from Anso to Fago and the Grand Route from Anso to Hecho are not miss day hikes that I have done when I was a bit younger. The owner of the Casa Rural Turreta is a potter who makes absolutely wonderful things - and very reasonable!

It is a mountain village and a very pleasant place to wander round. The tourist office was helpful and told us about a puppet show which was on. It was good to join in with the villagers. We did one walk from the village but mostly we drove north into the higher mountains. We explored three valleys and did some walks.
We had a really nice stay! The room was nice, equipped with a ventilator and the shower really good. Everything was super clean. The hosts were friendly, and albeit they did not speak English, they provided excellent service. Breakfast is simple but good. A gluten free breakfast was possible as well. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a beautiful view. Location of the hotel was amazing. The town of Ansó is small but has nice bars and restaurants on walking distance. With the car you can drive up into the mountains for a hike.
The property is located about a 6 minute walk from the center of the village. My mini apartment included a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen living room. It is located on a major hiking trail thru the Pyranees and is a wonderful natural surrounding. Anso itself is "one of the most beautiful villages in Spain" as voted in a national survey and that certainly is correct. Furthermore, the high pyranees are only 14km drive away up a mountain road from Anso and are spectacular. I recommend the Casa Turreta without reservation.
The hotel itself looks like it has recently been renovated. It is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The room itself was lovely and a lovely bathroom. The tiled floors are a lovely touch and quite vibrant. There is a lovely seating area outside and lovely views . The area itself is very quiet and only has 2-3 bars/restaurants. We were allowed to park motorcycle in the huge garage. Lovely breakfast provided at a reasonable cost.
The location of the property is great for visiting the Western Valleys Natural Park. We did some hiking in the Anso valley and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very quiet, and there was no problem sleeping. Blanca was very responsive. we were able to check in early and she was able to supply us with a couple of things that I requested.
Casa Ursula is conveniently located at the entrance to the old part of Anso, with plenty of free parking space just to its side. The owner gladly provides information about possible hikes and she also offers a huge breakfast in order to get you prepared.
Location was fabulous, just a few minutes walk from the really beautiful village of Anso. The apartment was really clean and child friendly in a quiet location surrounded by trees and hills with lovely birdsong. Stunning part of the Spanish Pyrenees.
The town of Ansó is beautiful and Casa Taconera is no exception. It possesses a rustic charm but under the surface is a clean, comfortable inn with modern furnishing to make the stay absolutely perfect.
Brilliant hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Food in the hotel restaurant was great.
This is one of the ACT Pyrenees hotel recommendations and an ideal location.
