Hotel Buenavista, hotel in Bahia de Casares

Hotel Buenavista is located in central Estepona, next to the city’s seafront promenade and beach. It offers a 24-hour reception and rooms with a TV, free Wi-Fi and private bathroom.

Location was right in front of the beach with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurant. The hotel had underground parking just across the promenade from its front door so very handy. Our room had a window, no balcony which looked out at the back onto a busy street and we did wonder being a friday evening in June if we would be kept awake by people in the bars etc but it was all quiet by 12 o’clock midnight thankfully.

Hotel Boutique Milla de Plata, hotel in Bahia de Casares

All rooms at Milla de la Plata offer spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar. The hotel is situated in a quiet cove just 2 km from Puerto de Sotogrande Port.

I love how the rooms all face out to the ocean. You can see the beach, Gibraltar, Africa and along the coast all from the comfort of your balcony. Aircon in the room as good.

Hotel El Pilar Andalucia, hotel in Bahia de Casares

Located within 300 metres of La Rada Beach and 2.3 km of El Cristo Beach, Hotel El Pilar Andalucia provides rooms in Estepona.

We did not have breakfast but enjoyed dinner in The Fusion restaurant upstairs, also a family dinner outside in the hotel's section of the square. Food was delicious, staff were very attentive and helpful in menu choices. We absolutely loved the terrace bar, Maria is a treasure. Coopers Barrel also deserve a mention, Daniel in particular as he organised wine, a cooler and glasses to our room to entertain guests. The front of house staff were so welcoming. Our room was well appointed, great air conditioning, products and dressing gowns.

El Molino Estepona, hotel in Bahia de Casares

Situated in Estepona, 2.8 km from La Rada Beach, El Molino Estepona features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

The breakfast was amazing, the location was stunning (I don't particularly like the coast, but this gem was surrounded by beautiful vegetation and flowers located within some hills/mountains). It's a very charming and friendly place. Ideal to have some rest and quality!

The apartment block has gone through some renovations which is welcome. The apartment size is good and the proximity to the beach is excellent. Parking is available on-site or in the underground car park. Bedrooms were a decent size but number of pillows was limited and more would have bene welcome. The apartment did not have WiFi nor a kettle both of which were much in need.

The appartment and urbanisation Bahia de casares were lovely. A short walk 10mins over a foot bridge avoiding busy road took us to the beach front and 2 resteraunts ,5 mins walk appart. We ate at resteraunt Bahia beach on the sea front great views food was average and overpriced (although the fish dishes looked good) drinks expensive and we were charged 10% service charge a Spanish friend stated this is not common practice and should highlight it on the menu. Service was good. we were advised to take a short walk to sabinillas where there is more choice but we did not have time. There was also a garage near the urbanisation which sold wine, bread etc (minimal choice and expensive)
