A hidden gem in the Salamanca province. One of the most beautiful villages we have ever seen in Spain. So spotlessly clean, so nicely-kept and we particularly liked that it was not full of souvenir shops.

It is a beautiful village in a wonderful environment and...
It is a beautiful village in a wonderful environment and stunning scenery . Very much worth a whole weekend stay for some hiking and visiting the surroundings. Good restaurants: we went to Casa Küme, which was very good but I know that Posada de Candelario, where we were staying, has a good resturant too.

The hotel is a charming period property nearly at the topmost part of the village. Need your witts about you to find. Municipal car park at the top. Very dog friendly.
