What a cool location! The apartment had the best view of the lake, with a super cool terrace overlooking everything, and is built into a giant rock! The apartment was huge and had all the amenities needed for an extended stay, including a garage. We visited during off season, and had a really cold snowy/rainy day, so we were very happy to have the wood stove and netflix to pass the day. The town is very small, and they don't seem to see too many Americans (don't get me wrong, they were super nice and sweet, just surprised by us). Restaurant options in walking distance are limited, but there are few, and more in the other towns about 15 minutes away.

From location to comfort everything is relaxing and beautiful. The apartment is a good size and very comfortable. The location is right in the heart of the mountains, giving you a magestic view. The appartment has an outside garden area, a spa and even a star gazing lounge that is just breath taking. Every moment of your stay you will be relaxed and recharged. We loved our time there and I hope we can return soon.

Very hard to drive to Hornos. The mountain roads are not for the faint hearted. But with all the beautiful surroundings and wildlife well worth it.The village easy to walk around the church very lovely inside. Two good places to eat and drink. We found food and drink prices reasonable too.Would be an amazing holiday for anyone hiking etc.Very quiet, so not suitable for anyone wanting 'bright lights'!

Hornos is in a great location on top of a rocky hilltop with fantastic views over the Sierra de Cazorla and the lake heading off into the distant mountains. The village itself includes the remains of the Islamic period castle, as well as later walls, towers and gateways, and retains the street pattern of the medieval town. You will find a range of bars, restaurants and little shops, but also a peaceful beauty in being part of this fantastic landscape, and an amazingly starry night sky.
Well restored very old building with all the essentials. Very quiet. Great view from the terrace. Very helpful owners. Lots of flower pots and the surrounding streets full of flowers. Parking very close by. The person meeting us helped us to get to the parking area which would have been difficult to find without his help. With 4 single beds, one double bed and a sofa bed it is really designed for hiking groups or family get togethers and so a bit overkill for the two of us. Hornos is a gem and the apartment is right in the oldest part.
This place is something special. Of course this is not a 5 Star Hotel but that's something you can't expect for this price. The rooms are super clean and perfect if you just need a place to sleep. This village is just amazing and Raisa is very well located. It has to be said, that Ramon and his sons - everybody who works there - are so nice hosts and persons. They treated me like I was their friend or private guest. Food is amazing! It was a very special experience. I'll come back for sure!
The apartment was good and had an equipped kitchen with utensils you might need to cook. the apartment is big, clean, and the location is very good. Air conditioning in main sleeping room and living room. Hornos is a beautiful village.
The view from the balcony was stunning and I appreciated very much having breakfast there. We are definitely coming back.
Very beautiful, comfortable and authentic house to enjoy the big treasure of authentic Hornos de Segura and the surrounding mountains. The owners Cielo and Jesus, and Manolo the caretaker, are the best and the most helpfull people. Go there people!
The has a marvelous location - very quiet with great views, yet handy to everything in Hornos. We especially liked the complete GR 247 walking guide in the house. Manolo was very helpful with any questions we had, and made our stay extra-special.
this hotel is OUT OF ORDER!!!!! we come here with small kids and doors were closed. local people said closed permanently!! thanks for booking.com that they quickly found alternative.
