We arrived early, but the property manager came to meet us and let us in. The apartment was very spacious and clean, with a nice little kitchen and living room. It was on a small street just a hundred meters or so from a big intersection that seems to be the center of town. The cathedral and a museum were in short walking distance, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Great cottage right on the Camino and next to a great restaurant! The owner sends you a code to access key bix before arrival.
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide.
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.
Fernando is a wonderful host, he’s laid back and enjoys spending time with guests. he’s done an amazing job updating this building, very modern touches while preserving the history. it’s outside of Melide in the countryside, 2km walk to town. right along the Camino. they provided a crib and high chair for our baby. we didn’t use the pool but it looked beautiful and well kept. all the staff were very friendly and helpful. thanks for having us! highly recommend.
Staying at this hostel was an amazing experience! We have been out and about walking the Camino, staying at different hostels and I truly have to say that the stay at "Albergue Melide" was the most comfortable one so far. The location is on point, the hosts are amazing and very considerate and on top of that they have a very clean and comfortable set of beds.
We would recommend a stay at this hostel! Buen Camino!
The hotel was right on the camino. The food was awesome (tenderest beef i've ever had and very good quality breakfast). There is a washing machine + dryer in the lobby so could wash all my laundry. Staff was really sweet. Best value hotel i stayed at on the camino. Would come again!
The hospitaleiro of this place did all he could to make us feel at home. The facilities were as expected, basic kitchen, nice dining area, comfortable beds and nice space in the dorm. The location in Melide was excellent - right in the middle of everything, and right on the Camino.
After an extremely difficult day and rainy day on the Camino, we were looking for a hotel with a bathtub. We found this hotel, and it was exactly what we were looking for — it even had laundry onsite! The family who own the hotel are attentive and friendly, and the food is good.
This Pension is very modern and comfortable. My room had a little balcony that gave me a nice peek at the wine zone action in Melide, with dozens of bars to eat tapas and drink awesome wine within footsteps of the pension. The hotel was also very close to the Camino way.
Although the hotel's facilities are not good enough: the elevator is too small, there is no hand sanitizer, and you have to go to the street to do laundry... But the host family is very enthusiastic, and the old couple can speak excellent English.
Once again, a rural casa converted into a medium size boutique hotel. Big rooms. Nice cafe and seating area inside and outside. A beautiful set of antique objects, radio, wall clock , etc. Good food.
Owner Fernando a great host.
Clean, quiet, comfortable room just outside of Melide on the CF.
Delicious breakfast kept us going almost until dinner time.
Beverage and snacks offered on arrival were much appreciated after a long walk.
Charming hosts.
Expect mediocrity in Melide, and you will sometimes be rewarded with better than average. This pension is good for the night, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and good shower. A block away from downtown.
We stayed here as part of a night in Melide as we do the Camino de Santiago. Having a garden and swimming pool is a total gem on the Camino. Exceptionally clean and very kind staff. Highly recommend!
Amazing hotel for this price. Everything is new and clean. The room was big, the bathroom is one for two rooms, like a private one. Perfect territory with a swimming pool. Not far from the Camino.
The location was very central..Walking distance to church and camino marker. There are nearby supermarkets and restaurants.. There is a chureria place beside the hotel.. Very good churros.
beautiful casa. was able to leave my pack w staff and walk to Melide for sightseeing. spent afternoon in the garden. food and drink available till 8pm.
