It was a lovely hotel. We were quite tired from doing the Camino so it was lovely to have a restaurant at the hotel.

Clean, easy remote checkin, host was quick to answer all questions and helpful in making a dinner reservation. Everything as expected. It’s a bit of a climb, but the host mentions taxi possibility. Ask the host about where to get groceries/supplies. I didn’t ask and I didn’t see any kind of supermarket, but I think there is one. Great view of the sea and sunset.

Everything. Carmen and her team are wonderful. They were very helpful in helping with allergies before we arrived and greeted us very warmly on arrival. The house is beautifully decorated and has a range of facilities that help to make it feel like home, including a sitting room, seating area in a beautiful garden, exterior washing line (there's access to a laundry nearby), tea and coffee making facilities. Our room was large and simply furnished with ample hot water. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was great with a good selection of fresh fruit, breads, teas, coffees, delicious orange juice, and eggs cooked to order.
We'll try to return as the hospitality offered is second to none. Oia is a charming little hamlet. A good place to stop on the Camino Portuguese with a couple of restaurants, an amazing shop and lovely sea views.
Highly recommended

Boasting a garden and views of sea, A CASA de FLORINDA is a recently renovated homestay set in Oia, 40 km from Estación Maritima. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a patio.
Oia is a lovely little village. There are only a few restaurants but very good. There is a supermarket that sells just about everything and on Saturday night we were entertained by locals playing traditional music and singing in one of the local bars.
While hiking the Camino, we were in need of a place to stay in Oia - just past town, the location was just off the route, with exceptionally clear directions, and Toni was waiting for us waving from the entrance to help us find her place! She was incredibly kind and generous, helping us to procure food for dinner and offering her washing machine and line to dry our clothes. The view from her patio is stunning, and we had everything we needed for a delightfully comfortable stay! Would highly recommend!
Charming bedroom with a fabulous sea view and huge bathroom. Very nicely furnished, best beds on the Camino. Wam friendly hosts who gave us a ride to/from an excellent local restaurant. Like most residents, we opted for the optional breakfast which was delicious and a very good value. Can't wait to return to Oia and spend time in the spacious garden --wouldn't stay anywhere else.
A really beautiful Spanish country house, which is run with a lot of love, also for nature, the pets (2 dogs & 2 donkeys) and togetherness. It is in a beautiful idyllic location and as it is a little further away from Oia/restaurants, we were offered a free private transfer to the restaurant by the friendly hosts. I would come back any time!
Our favorite place to stay while walking the Camino- when we reach Oia we are so tired and need the comfort and rest- the ladies who work here are so kind- near the monastery and a small restaurant above the sea- great views - they have a private garden where you can relax- the showers are great and the beds very comfortable- love love love
The owner went out of his way to help us when we had medical issues . He spent a long time sorting out our choices . He arranged a taxi and continued to contact us to check we were ok . If booking look closely at the location as we were confused about Oia being a region rather than just one place . We would go again .
Lorena was extremely helpful, would have been lovely to have met the owner, face to face but really thanks for all the fantastic help she gave us. Location could not have been better in the epicenter of Oia. Neighbours were also very friendly.
Hearing the waves smashing on the rocks nearby was music to my ears!
Really friendly and helpful staff. Ordered a cup of tea and it came with a complimentary slice of homemade Galician cake which was very nice. Lovely clean room, great view over Oia - would definitely recommend this spot on the camino! Also had a very good breakfast which set me up for the day!
wow, this place was so nice! the host went out of his way to help me and give me recommendations for what to do during my time in Oia. the apartment is beautiful, clean, and spacious with the most remarkable view of the beach! one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever stayed!
Toni is the most amazing hostess. She not only greeted us but had her son come visit to say hi. Gave us milk for our coffee. Her husband drove us into town for our dinner reservations and even picked us up.
My daughter wants to visit Oia again as it is so beautiful.
The young man who checked us in and served us dinner later was exceptional. The facilities were great, it was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the amazing prawns on the menu for dinner, and the wine was very affordable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Hotel located in amazing place, great views to the ocean from the room and around hotel to area. Service lovely and friendly even with special cooking for vegetarians:) Bed super comfortable. Definitely i would come back and spend more time in this lovely place.
This was by far the BEST hotel on the Camino, so far. The staff goes above and beyond to see whatever you need. And the view to the water, as well as the sounds of the ocean, will lull you to sleep. Very excellent breakfast as well for a little extra.
The owners were super helpful and nice. Let me use the kitchen to heat up my food. New hotel, impeccably clean.
I was here in mid- January so it was I little cold but they brought in a heater and made sure I had drinks and food.
Beautiful property in a small village. the garden is ver tranquil and a special treat. the hostess is fantastic. We loved it here in Oia. Everyone we met was so welcoming.
Wonderful location in Oia. the building has incredible character, inside and out. Family business since 1799 and the family who run it are warm, kind, helpful people.
