We loved Beaulieu and the Clos is right in the heart of the old town near the R Dordogne. The rooms were beautifully and lovingly furnished and everything worked perfectly. Thierry was a kind and helpful host and served us delicious breakfasts, recommending excellent routes around the Lot.

The owners of the hotel were charming and accommodating. The half board option worked really well for us after a long day's travelling and the dinner was delicious.

A lovely place to feel the Perigord and set directly on the tender dordogne river, in low distance to most of the other places to see. Not to crowdy at the end of september. A city which is still proud of the old town with restaurants of every taste.

if you like biking, whether easy road or difficult MTB, it is the place for you. in particular there are almost no cars on several back roads, and some of these follow the river Dordogne..... Beaulieu and all the neighboring villages are a masterpiece of beauty, because everything is so ancient and all in stone..... and the people are super kind and polite.

Location was huge plus point to this hotel. food was good but breakfasts rather ordinary. Surprised they used the excuse of the pandemic not to clean the rooms during our 3 night stay. They did say if we wanted to have clean towels we must ask. We had family camping on the island just across the bridge so it was very convenient.

Not a lot of restaurant options or shops, but worth a stop-over if you’re going in that direction. We did a kayak trip on the Dordogne which was great fun and well organised. The 2 Logis hotels both offer good food.

Excellent location in the town centre but peaceful.
Excellent location in the town centre but peaceful. Good for visiting the surrounding towns and countryside of the Dordogne River Valley. Beaulieu has a very old part in the town which is very pretty and the riverside areas are beautiful.

Jason informed us well in advance about where to find the location of this rental and how to get into the property. We had no problems. The property is in a central part of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, a beautiful medieval village, easy walking to restaurants and boulangeries, monuments, tourist office, and down to the river. We were very near to where we had to catch the early morning bus to Brive-la-Gaillarde. Excellent experience!
Excellent location, very quiet and calm. Very good restaurant in the same hotel building. We were in low season, so there were not many opportunities to eat. You should book in advance the lunch and dinner.
Rooms are exactly as described, perfectly fit our expectations.
There is no lift, so think about the luggage.
The hotel has an amazing atmosphere of old times, you feel the history. We were upgraded to a premium room and so enjoyed a spacious terrace too. Room was very comfortable and clean. The lady at reception was quite welcoming when we arrived.
We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. I recommend it to anyone wanting a mini-break in the Dordogne. The location was ideal, within walking distance from many restaurants and bars. I would return here.
Hotel with secure outdoor parking if travelling by car or motorbike. The hotel has a restaurant plus there are a few bars in the square. Okay for a nights stay if travelling further.
Staff were welcoming and friendly, rooms were comfortable and clean. Good breakfast but need to pay extra. Hotel was in an easy and nearby location with free parking outside.
