Hotel exceeded expectations. Lovely room with view of gorge. Hotel restaurant of same name was one of our best meals in France Be sure to make reservations for dinner. Really genuine and unspoilt area, just enough to get by if you don't do French, but people are so warm and friendly it hardly matters. So much local produce to enjoy and so many places to visit and experience; hire car or own transport a must as it's all very spread out, but the roads are brilliant and in our entire visit of two weeks, we didn't see "Average Speed Checks" a single time - until we reached Ashford, when we faced our first after 1.5 miles and thereafter for the next 150 miles. Thoroughly recommended, we'd re-visit as often as we could.
