Furthermore, the setting is superb and there is plenty of parking, so on paper this hotel ticked all our required boxes. We did not use the spa facilities so cannot comment. However...

Spacious, clean property with lovely furnishings etc. great it had a washing machine and we could hang clothes out in the garden. Restaurant in the village was great, ate there both nights, it is very busy so do book. Don’t miss Le Plan Incline, a boat lift, very interesting. Enough to do for two nights.
