Beautiful, comfortable and spacious rooms. Dinner in the restaurant is delicious - the vegetarian menu was perfect. On request they even made a vegan menu on the spot.

Situated in a pretty and quiet village, the accommodation was good with a nice large room and good bathroom, and the host was very kind. We made a mistake with dates, but she accepted the mistake and made us feel comfortable! Breakfast was nice

We know from previous visits that the Ardennes region where the hotel is located is full of interesting places, including the delightful Charleville -Mezieres and some very pleasing rolling countryside. We took advantage of the 'brocante' market on the morning of our departure and bought a couple of items.
Outstanding in every respect. A total 10. The town is lovely, the hotel is charming and the new annex is gorgeous, our small pooch was welcome and there is a nice little walking area. Both the breakfast and dinner were wonderful...absolutely the best croissant in history and dinner was delicious. The beds and shower are worth the visit alone....tremendous. We will be back in August.
The room was spacious and very well equipped.
This is a beautiful village setting, where there is safe on street parking in front of the hotel.
The restaurant…. Highly accomplished French cuisine with set meal options to include farmer’s choice meat dishes. The staff are professional and extremely friendly. Recommended to any British traveller, even if it requires a slight detour!
This is a lovely little hotel with a great Restaurant. The room we had was like new with a vaulted ceiling and shuttered windows looking out to the village. The walk in shower was great. The staff & Madame were all lovely. Breakfast was gorgeous. The village has a couple of Restaurants, Bakers, Post office & ATM. Nice base to visit the Ardenne. Thank you.
We have been revisiting this auberge over a twenty year period. We love the ambience and its location in a delightful small town in the Ardennes region of France. If you like a hotel with history as well as modern comforts, where you can enjoy a distinctive French cuisine in the evening, then this is the place to stay!
The staff was super friendly, despite our language barrier (we don't speak French) - we arrived late due to heavy traffic and they politely allow us to have dinner on arrival
Good restaurant on site and super nice breakfast in the morning
Electric car charging point available in front of the hotel
We liked the hotel which was fashionable and fresh. The restaurant served us a very good dinner in the evening and the breakfast was perfect. Many thanks to the hotel host who took care of my forgotten clothes and delivered them by the postoffice to me.
The property is quite rustic, it like an old would french hotel. Yes it’s basic, old and quirky but the people there are really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We had a lovely evening, thank you.
Staff were superb. They really know how to look after you.
The food in the restaurant is very good.
Good location in middle of town
Electric vehicle charging immediately outside the hotel (public)
Very nice, spacious, modern bathroom. The hotel restaurant downstairs was affordable and the food excellent. The petite breakfast was a good value. Well located for historical activities.
Felt homely and comfortable, room was very large, tea/coffee facilities in room, bed very comfy, bathroom huge. We eat in the hotel restaurant, outstanding, local food cooked perfectly.
Have been going to the hotel for years, it's one of my favourite hotels in France.
Love the area and at the hotel restaurant I have always been served great food by great staff.
