The owners were friendly. The car was parked safely off the road. We ate our breakfast outside under a sun shade. There was a very good restaurant around the corner and Chaumont was only a short drive away.

Lovely place with very nice staff. All very friendly and incredibly helpful but not pushy or interfering. We appreciated that fine balance.The spa was amazing, and breakfast was quite exceptional with lots of choice. All very good quality and local produce used wherever possible.

The room was large and comfortable. The swimming pool was very near our room. It was
clean, but the water was cold, even though the outdoor temperature was around 30 C.
The receptionist was charming. Breakfast was tasty and varied. On the first morning, we were the only guests.
On arrival to our room, we only had one hand towel, and one bath towel for my husband and myself. We ordered more and were served promptly, but it didnt give much confidence, taking into account that we were 2 persons, and we also intended to use the pool.

The location is quiet even though next to the principal access route along the bank of the Loire to Blois one way and Amboise the other is very close. The very minor roads away are perfect for cycling, not too demanding and can take you to all kinds of smaller and interesting places too.
