Wonderful stay! When we arrived we was pleasantly surprised with the space and lovely place it was! We was travelling with two kids and there was games and dvds to hand to help entertain them! Also they loved the trampoline, swing and just being able to play in the garden along with going for a nice walk along with river!!
Couldn’t fault our stay! Would defo come back and recommend!!

A quiet but lovely little town with a very friendly atmosphere and sense of community. A bonus of visiting in December is the Christmas lights, which add extra charm. The only negative, when visiting family in the town, is the lack of a railway station - without a car, it takes a cab ride from Ely or Huntingdon (the nearest stations) to get there.

Beautiful place fit right in spent time with partner very sunny and people arent shy to say hi or a wave love to find a place in chatteris .my favourite place was the hotel and the neibourhood in general I ate at the hotel called cross key hotel.very easy to learn your way around chatteris wouldnt avoid anything it's just amazing
The owner couldn't do enough for us, breakfast was fab.
He did explain that long term plan was to modernise the hotel, bring it up to date with providing extra sockets, charging points etc.
Reason for visit I had a funeral to attend in town and our wake was here at The Bramley.
Room we had wake and breakfast was lovely, staff were very good, plus the cosy room as I call it opposite main room is great to chill in and have coffee's etc.
Will definitely go back one day if only to see the changes that will be made.
A charming building with lots of character. Very quiet considering it’s in the middle of Chatteris. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A lovely breakfast with lots of choice.
I had a single room which was compact and very clean. The en-suite was a good size and the shower was nice and hot.
(I had a peak at the double rooms and they looked lovely).
Good breakfast, lovely host. Evening dinner was good, staff were excellent - very friendly and good service. The hotel is full of old curiosities and very traditional. Enjoyed taking part in the pub quiz even though we came last! Stayed in a room with a Taster bed. The rooms were very clean if old fashioned but had everything you needed.
I was working odd hours, the hotel managed to place me in an external room, which meant not disturbing guests when coming back in the early hours of the morning. The room was faultless, always kept tidy and clean by housekeeping. Breakfast was fantastic, recommend the full English included in the price. Will happily use this hotel again.
Tom was so accommodating, and all the staff at the Bramley were so pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was really good for our family surprise visit. Bramley house itself is a clean and very well-kept hotel. Suitable to all our needs. This is the 2nd time we have stayed there and would gladly stay again.
We held my nan's wake at the hotel , very helpful with choice of foods and drink and perfect setting as felt very comfortable and personal, decided to book a room and stayed the evenning of the wake , room very clean and comfortable, breakfast again very good next morning, very professional staff and very helpful,
Large, commodious bedroom with good quality 'nibbles' and toiletries. The historic nature of the hotel was a constant delight and the owners deserve much credit for steering this hotel with such success through the darkest waters of the pandemic.
A lovely, very old and quirky hotel with lots of history. Very pleasant and helpful staff and a good menu offered with food that was well presented and good value. I would book at this hotel again if I am working in the area.
This is a lovely hotel very close to Cambridge. Our room was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious too. Can't recommend highly enough!
What an utterly amazing hotel full of history & character. We only stayed to see a band playing over the road but enjoyed the hotel as much as the band!
