Dinner in the restaurant was amazing, the food was really good and very good value for money for the quality and the price. I would highly recommend having dinner here. Breakfast was also lovely as well.

The hotel was not expensive and was in a decent position in Coldstream. The room was basic but reasonably comfortable. Some of the bathroom fittings could have done with being replaced/upgraded. Don't leave the window open at night! The traffic outside is very noisy - we closed the window on our second night and it was fine! The owner and his wife were lovely and a) made us feel very welcome; and b) prepared good food - both breakfast and dinner.

The menu was well thought out and tempting to over indulge, great value for money The service was very good, the quality of of food very good, tasty, nicely presented. The atmosphere was very friendly, quick and efficient.
