It's an excellent location, for me, by the bridge over looking the river Waveney. There's a small car park to the side so you can park up and collect your keys from the owners, Alison and Graham, who are very helpful and know about all things 'Boaty'. Its also a lovely old building oozing character and the room has an ensuite bathroom and kitchenette area with a fridge stocked with enough food to make breakfast or evening snacks until you have sorted out where the nearest shops and eateries are.
Facing the beach, the Carlton Hotel is located in Great Yarmouth. It offers a restaurant and bedrooms with private bathrooms. Yarmouth Tourist Centre is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

But surely that statement says something in itself

An excellent hotel especially for those travelling with their furry friends. Extensive grounds in which to walk your dog and close to the dog friendly beach at Gorleston. The hotel is also within easy reach of Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Olton Broad to name a few.
Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is something to be looked forward to delicious and sustaining
The evening menu is a bit limited but the food was expertly cooked, by the owner I think, and beautifully presented.
The other thing I liked was there was no change for dogs whereas the majority of hotels are now charging between £10 and £25 a night per dog and this can add a lot to a holiday.
This was our second visit and we have booked another holiday later in the year.
I can recommend this hotel without reservation book now and enjoy your holiday.
Situated in a pleasant area just beyond the top of the main seafront, the Marine Lodge features large windows which offer panoramic views over the bowling greens to the beach and sea.

The location was perfect, not too far away from anything.
The location was perfect, not too far away from anything. There seaside not far away at Southwold and a Quay and lovely shops and eateries in nearby Beccles. There was also a train station in nearby villages if you wanted to travel further afield. Also a couple of pubs for meals a short drive away.

The location was great, just next to a horse sanctuary and not far from the sea and all the lovely things to see and do in Norfolk! Saw lots of deer, hares and wildlife in the surrounding countryside too, which was nice. The caravan was so quiet and peaceful, the shower was better than some hotels we've stayed in and there were good facilities - it is heated, there's an additional fire in the living area and 3 perfectly adequately-sized bedrooms and two toilets (one ensuite).
Everything about our stay was exceptional, the service could shame some top class hotels, Hosts John and Suzanne were like family friends, simply put the Best yes Best BandB we haver ever stayed in the UK and we've stayed in quite a few, all the great reviews were well deserved.
It was perfect, owners really good a running this hotel. It has rooms which have their own front door and outside terrace, loved it. Breakfast was absolutely cooked to perfection. The rooms had everything you could need.
