From check in to check out really happy with the hotel and the staff, friendly welcome, easy check in process, clean tidy and fresh smelling room, everything in the room worked, instant hot water out of sink, shower and bath taps, lovely freshly cooked hot breakfast with help yourself to toast, jams, yogurts, cereals, hot and cold drinks. Well maintained hotel with grass areas (ideal for dog) and outdoor seating, ample parking for all guests and close to shops, pubs and train station if required.
The hotel includes free Wi-Fi throughout and offers modern rooms, which are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The rooms also benefit from a king-size bed. Some rooms have a balcony.

Lovely staff. Easy to find and park. Clean room. Nice breakfast with a good choice of options including cooked and buffet toast, cereal and croissants. Well worth the price for one night in easy access of Widnes.

Enjoyed breakfast, could have had everything a lot warmer than just sausages. It was luke warm, edible though.
On hilly location, not sure if access would be ideal in the winter freeze for example.
Lots of car parking behind main car park, swim pool nice size to swim in with 3 lanes.

We made a random choice of hotel as we were in the area and decided to take a break. Really enjoyed the hotel and it's location. Nice, but hilly, walk to Frodsham and great views from the War Memorial near the hotel. Hotel is a bit tired in some respects (coloured bathroom suite for example) but very acceptable. Staff friendly, food good and pool was quiet. We've booked to go back in May.

Great location. Good gym for workout.
Great location. Good gym for workout. Also pool ideal for kids.
long walk to town. Easy downhill but get taxi back if needed. nice village nearby local pubs and church for sightseeing. Pleaseant area.
The room was quiet, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Staff were mostly professional. The cleaning staff were the real stars and made sure we had our favorite biscuits and lots of decaf coffee for in-room coffee. The restaurant was convenient and staff there helpful and kind. One hotel employee offered us a ride to town which was lovely.
The Breakfast was good. I did not stay for dinner.
The room was spacious. The hotel needs updating however, it was satisfactory and clean. The staff were also friendly and polite.
The location was great for me and Frodsham particularly on a clear day - great views.
You do need a vehicle really if you are staying.
It's a great place, very nice staff, there is a monument just a few minutes away with an outstanding view of the Merseyside, quite impressive. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Overall, I would say our visit at Frodsham Forest Hills was a really good experience.
When I started working in the 1980s, I would pick out Best Western Hotels. They were miles better than the tents and youth hostels that I'd been used to: you could get fish, chips and beer in the restaurant, the rooms were comfortable, and they always had a bit of individual character.
We chose this hotel because it had an electric vehicle charger and was near the motorway - convenient. The charger wasn't working when we arrived but a member of hotel staff fixed it for us. Our room was large and comfortable.
Quiet hotel with fabulous views across the river Mersey. It snowed before we arrived, then again through the night. The view at breakfast was magical, driving down the hill into Frodsham an hour later wasn't lol
Fantastic hotel everyone was kind, helpful, friendly and gave us a 5*service all around we loved it.
My husband is disabled and the kindness , and care they showed him was excellent thank you so much 😊.
Lovely hotel nicely decorated. Very quiet location, comfortable rooms very comfortable bed it was very relaxing and to add to that an excellent breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend it
Lovely clean and modern facilities and decor inside and beautiful setting just outside Frodsham. Liam was very accommodating and let us check in early, which was much appreciated!
One of the best value stays we make, food is good and plentiful, staff friendly and helpful. We love the '70s style of the hotel and think it should be listed.
Room was spacious and beds are comfortable.
