The cottage was great, and 1st impressions where good.
The size is off the charts, and ideal for a large family group who could spend time together but also not be on top of each other.
The hot tubs were amazing.once the big one had warmed up.
The staff at check in were friendly enough and on hand to help with a few requests (extra towels and ice) without bother .

From the time we checked in, to paying our bill we loved our visit. The hotel itself has quite the presence, overlooking the green celebrating its mining heritage. Our room was in the converted coachhouse, it was stunning, well maintained, full of character and very comfortable. We ate in the room between the bar and the restaurant as our dogs were with us, the standard of service during both of our evening meals was exceptional, the dogs got their own drinks and had a fuss made of them! the staff attention to detail, ensuring the experience was perfect and our food was delicious. Breakfast was very generous, huge selection of cooked food, cereal, fruit and more. The only disappointment was that the pastries were so small, but that is the only one. Every member of staff from arrival to leaving were exceptional. Looking forward to another stay!
