The room was lovely and bright. However, would suggest blackout blinds or curtains as so bright awoke very early and couldn't get back to sleep.

Location was excellent as we needed to be near the church for a wedding.
Hotel had a tired look but the staff were very heelpful and friendly.
Our evening meal was delicious.

Our room was very spacious and immaculate. Big comfy bed. Beautiful bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant the night we arrived. The food was amazing and big portions. Breakfasts both mornings were delicious. All staff were very friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Thank you so much x

I would really like to give this hotel 10 as the staff were wonderful. I commented on this on this when checking out. Then, on discovering that I had left my KIndle in the restaurant it was forwarded to me with no extra charge. I can't praise them enough! The chef even came out of the kitchen after serving our breakfast to make sure that we didn't need anything else before having his own. The waiter couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent as well. My husband loved the haggis and black pudding!!

The property was gorgeously decorated with lots of interesting items. The bed was very comfortable and the shower hot and strong. I loved the picture of Frida Kahlo, I’m becoming convinced she follows me!! I was staying here to attend a party nearby. My friends stayed in a nearby hotel and visited me here, we all agreed I got a much better accommodation for the same price!! The property was very well equipped and had absolutely everything I needed. The town itself is beautiful too, some beautiful buildings and the short stroll to Preston Mill was lovely.
