The Feature room is truly special and spacious. We loved it. The breakfast included in the rate is tasty too.

The room was very clean and the kitchen really useful. The complimentary breakfast was great since we arrived on bikes, and a good amount for our three-night stay. Juice, milk, coffee, tea, sliced bread, honey, jam, butter and cereal. We would have preferred wholemeal bread rather than white, but that’s personal preference. Close to lots of beautiful sights and pubs.

The unit was clean and tidy and provisioned with a range of breakfast cereals, bread and spreads and orange juice for breakfasts during the stay. There was also plenty of on site parking available. The unit was set back from the road , so there wasn't much traffic noise.
Food was amazing. Lovely bathroom products and lots of personal touches made the stay memorable. Good location for visiting many sights. Main drawback was no overhead ceiling shower due to ceiling height, so shower had to be handheld, which made hair washing tricky.

Beautiful part of the world. Hawkhurst is small but very well placed as a base for day-tripping from with a wealth of historic houses, gardens, castles etc within easy reach, plus good walking country.

Hawkhurst is a small town, but has the amenities you need such as supermarkets and shops. It is ideally situated for a number of attractions in the area, such as Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter etc.
An exceptional stay at a superb small hotel, where staff went out of their way to be helpful. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with comfortable chairs and a coffee, the staff showed what good 'hospitality' looks like. I wish we had been staying longer. The old building is beautiful and full of character, and the rooms and facilities have been updated to a good standard. We had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant, where the food was imaginative, well-presented and served promptly.
The breakfast was excellent. Close location for visiting several National Trust properties. Easy to find. Grocery and petrol stations near by on the same street if you need them. We had a Family Room which is all that was available. It was spacious and comfortable. The shower was in the bathtub. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Lots of parking onsite, in front of hotel and pub.
Perfect location for a peaceful retreat and yet only a few minutes to the nearby Hawkhurst where there is a Tesco and Waitrose. Charming, welcoming hosts made me feel completely at home. The barn is well equipped for self-catering and is spotless and well maintained. Ideally placed for visits to Great Dixter and Sissinghurst. I loved my stay here and would definitely return!
The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world delicious and nutritious! So we're the evening meals and beer!! The service was outstanding in every aspect! The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean, complete with coffee, tea and treats. I would come back to Hawkhurst just to stay at The Queens Inn.
It is an old Inn located in a beautiful region. We made small excursions to Bodium Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, and smaller villages and their churches nearby. The Pub in the hotel was warm and inviting. Harry Cox and his staff went above and beyond for us. We enjoyed generous meals, fun entertainment, and cozy atmosphere!
We spent a night at the Queens as we were attending a friends wedding at Swallow’s Oast which was about 12 mins away.
Such a beautiful hotel. Rooms were lovely, very boutique and stylish. We loved it.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious.
I would without a doubt recommend this hotel.
Wonderful staff, welcoming and helpful and so many delightful touches that put the 5* hotel I stayed in recently to shame. Bone china cups for tea, delicious brownies, milk delivered to the door and a spotless room.
We were upgraded free of charge too which was an unexpected delight.
This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The property and its facilities are exceptional. The garden and the setting are beautiful - we could have sat on the terrace looking out over the Kentish Weald all day. Harriet and Oliver are wonderful hosts. An exceptional B&B.
The staff were fantastic but a special mention needs to be said for Zoe who was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond - really is a huge credit to the hotel! Really didn't want to leave as it was such a great stay. Lovely breakfast and the brownies didn't last long
Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Perfect setting of hotel in the lovely village of Hawkhurst. Room very comfortable. In the evening restaurant food delicious, breakfast food pretty comprehensive and served with a smile. Absolutely loved it.
Hotel was lovely, room and bathroom exceptionally clean, staff very friendly but professional, were very helpful also well turned out, you also get fresh milk for the room not UHT capsules Food really good will definitely stay again0
The large main bedroom had lovely wooden shutters, which kept out the sunshine first thing in the morning, the nice courtyard garden was a sun trap and the cottage was only a few minutes drive to Hawkhurst.
Exceptionally fine country hotel, and I visit many. This is one of the best. Excellent cuisine, the pork tenderloin was obviously well sourced, and I would guess local produce.
