All meals were excellent. Good, fresh ingredients and extensive menu (includes 50 varieties of pie!), well cooked and tasty. They specialise in very large portions of pies, with some veggy alternatives. Served fairly quickly by pleasant & helpful staff. Loads of choice at breakfast time, again well cooked and really hot and tasty. Can't fault them at all.
Rooms were exceptionally clean and attractive. Appreciated the wetroom facilities and space in the bedroom to charge my powerchair battery. 2 steps between bedrooms and Bar, but there was an alternative route (via outdoors) and staff said a ramp was available if I preferred the indoor route but I didn't use the ramp.
The Bar was attractive, clean and had loads of 'jokey' things to look at or read. Great choice of beers and other drinks.
All staff were polite, friendly, really professional and very helpful.
For future customers... just note that there isn't a fridge or a phone in the bedroom, although there is a kettle, mugs and loads of tea bags & coffee etc. There is also free wi-fi.

Friendly welcome, plenty of parking, nice clean room with fresh crisp white sheets and towels. The shared facilities are kept clean and always available when I wanted to use them. My friends joined me for an evening meal in the pub and all 3 of us really enjoyed our food. Oh and dog friendly too!

Brilliant place to stay when visiting this part of the country. Very friendly staff and the evening meal was really good. Could not find anything which was not first class.

Our first time as a family staying in a caravan was a lovely experience. We normally go camping which we will be back in the summer with our tent!
Loved how basic everything was which was needed for a total weekend to switch off and not having so much available to us that we had to choose to be doing something.
Caravans are great, husband wants to live in one when the kids have moved out!!

Lovely village with all amenities, 3 great pubs, close to bus stop, kept tidy and within 3 miles of the coast. A walk across fields would bring the coast at Filey within 2 miles for the more active person. Our favourite place to eat was the White swan about 7 minutes walk away. Personally I would avoid going to Bridlington again as I thought it was quite run down compared to Filey and Whitby which was excellent. Also flamborough head is well worth a visit.

The purpose of our trip to Hunmanby was a tour of the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery. I would definitely recommend the tour and a visit to their Pot Still coffee shop where we enjoyed a lovely (pre-ordered) afternoon tea. The other food looked delicious and the service was first class!

We only stayed one night and had already planned where we were going so didn't have time to look around the village. If we had stayed longer or visited again we would have a proper look around the village as it looks very quaint. While we were staying in Hunmanby we had a go at pitch & putt in Filey and also went to Scarborough open air arena. Public transport was very good. We had a bit of trouble getting a cab back from Scarborough late at night.

A beautifully picturesque village.
A beautifully picturesque village. It’s quaintness surpasses any possible expectations. I would be thrilled to revisit such an idyllic setting. The residents and local council should be very proud.
Ideal for getting to nearby attractions, Filey in particular. The White Swan is a brilliant little local.
The Piebald Inn is a must if you enjoy a good pie.
