The shower did not work & had to cancel clients in the morning. I was moved to another room yet lost 2 hours packing, dealing with the situation.
I did write to the manager yet received no response.

Wonderful village, deep in the Surrey countryside, popular with mountain bikers, walkers and ordinary people like me! Surrounded by the Surrey Hills, there are some terrific walks and the climb to the top of Pitch Hill is well worth it. There’s a great little shop, but most important of all, a stupendous pub, the Hurtmore Inn, whose restaurant has the biggest plates of food I have ever seen, and whose waiters (Italian) are totally adorable. The Hurtmore Hotel is just behind the pub and is also excellent.
Excellent location in the heart of the Surrey Hills, with great walks and rides (off-road and road) from the hotel. Dog friendly hotel and friendly staff. Food also pretty good and the room was well furnished and a good size (poor shower was only gripe) . Great village store with lots of options for picnics and food on the go if you’re cycling or walking. A lovely weekend break post Lockdown
Bed was huge, and extremely comfortable.
Bathroom was very good. Shower worked fine, easy to work, good pressure. The bathroom was larger than some entire hotel rooms I've stayed in.
Breakfast was excellent, but beware of the large portion sizes.
Very quiet for being in the middle of Surrey, and attached to a good pub.
Plenty of chair/surface space for bike gear.
Staff were fabulous. Upgraded me to thier spa room because I wanted a bathroom and there wasn't one in my allocated room. Great breafast on offer, which was huge. Kitchen staff wrapped up what I couldn't manage, so that I could take it away for lunch.
I was there for work so didn't get chance to explore the area but the hotel is set in fabulous countyry-side.
The location in the forest is beautiful. Peaslake is one of my favourite villages. The exterior of the hotel is first class. The room was comfortable and staff were very friendly. Good beer selection at the bar, tho I believe the bar/restaurant is a depart business to the hotel. Full English breakfast was substantial in the morning.
Comfortable modern clean, lovely to have iron and ironing board - needs adding to the spec. A toaster would have been a bonus. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Food good and Peaslake itself such a delightful place, it really ticked the box for us as we were attending a wedding a few miles away.
the hurtwood hotel is really well run and cozy beautiful location in the heart of the Surrey hills. we stayed in the old school house with pets and young children and felt welcome throughout our stay.
Location of the hotel is great in the centre of Peaselake
It was attached to a pub so could have food and drinks
Coffee machine in room
Fresh milk and extra coffee/tea capsules & bags
