Wifi did not work, rubbish.
Cleanliness - fairly large spider trapped in bathroom sink gave me an unpleasant surprise..

It is simple but ideal for a stop over before a flight. Sorted parking at front desk so no ticket like some people said. Polite staff, clean room, ideal location. Worth the £40

Very pretty on the outside. On the inside was a bit like a hostel.

The reception staff (Cathy) was unhelpful and bordering on rude. The barman told my adult son that my husband and I were "stupid" as we didn't know the currency and had to ask if we had given the correct coins. There was no early check-in available and no secure place to put your luggage while you waited for your room. When we walked to our room we passed a lot of dirty dishes left on the stairs. The room was tired with chipped paint on the walls and cupboards. Breakfast was okay but don't expect all the hot food options available at one time.
The water pressure was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful. The cab company recommended by the hotel was fantastic.

We love the location, Food and the relaxing facilities { ie: Pool,Sauna, Jacuzzi} that the Hotel offers.
However, we were given a Room in the Basement which had no Phone or WiFi reception, and a Fridge would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

If you look at August review Helen they also had superior room that smelt like sewer so the hotel purely hadn’t corrected this in August we had just come back today 20th September when we complained today attach this to my previous review please of complaint wish had seen before booking would never have gone especially o suffer from Copd too
Exactly as described- a cosy cottage - surrounded by farm buildings and lovely garden. The owner had provided a welcome pack of milk, bread, cheese, butter, fruit, wine, etc. which was fantastic. There are some country walks from the cottage or into Sawbridgeworth. A perfect place to stay while visiting family in Bishop's Stortford. Would definitely stay here again.
I am so glad that I didn't listen to the negative reviews that I read online. I chose this hotel because it has a swimming pool and the location.
I was amazed at how the staff were so considering and very helpful. My room was a bit cold for me so when I explained this to the receptionist Liz she came within a few minutes with a heater.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds just a short taxi ride from Sawbridgeworth station. The indoor pool is fabulous - big and warm - plus there is a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi with long opening hours and it is all free to hotel guests. The bar man was very jolly! The dinner menu was quite interesting.
We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who explained everything really well. We had a lovely room not too far from the lift. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff in every part of the hotel were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel surroundings are just amazing, beautiful peaceful nature. The hotel itself is full of character, you feel like you are back in time in a good way. Room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast was really good!
It's a nice house , stayed only while settling in Harlow. Comfortable , got some good rest.
Quiet area! in that village.
Sounds like a village at least.
First time I slept in sawbridgeworth!!
