Food good and room lovely. But we won't be staying there again due to service. The grounds are well kept but it is all part of a holiday home complex (lots of dogs barking) and they use the Spa as their local swimming baths. We did have a massage which was really nice.

Very accommodating and friendly host. The b&b was spotlessly clean - the high standards exceeded our expectations. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious - cooked by Daniel. The location is also good - about 10 minutes walk into the centre of town and the same to the station. I'd definitely stay again.

What fantastic and kind hosts! The George inn was something out of history and the couple running the inn joined us for wine while we had dinner. Lovely company! Great stop for hiking along the Dale's way.

Beautiful, friendly place. Great Forest walks, delicious home made pies. Variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. The River Canal boat trip is a must. Went on the 'Drinks Ahoy' excursion - excellent, well organised and value for money.

There is nothing to dislike about Skipton, it is a pretty market town, lots of boutique type shops, lovely wine bars & coffee shops & welcoming pubs.
Everywhere we went we received a warm & friendly welcome. The places we ate were cosy and good value for money (Woolley Sheep) and romantic and special (Le Bistro)
Location was a short walk from Skipton town centre. The terraced house was very clean. You can hear the neighbours very occasionally but it wasn't intrusive. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Perfect place to stay if you want to explore the dales. There's a TV screen in every bedroom as well as the lounge. Bread, orange juice and milk to welcome you. Tea and coffee sachets available. Toilet rolls provided. Thoughtful items left in bathroom cabinet (for the ladies). I would stay there again.
The location is outstanding, with the castle nearly next door and many dining and shopping options a short walk away. We enjoyed the living area in the room with a small sofa and chair. With the addition of a mini-fridge, it could have felt like a studio apartment/flat. The host gave a warm welcome and got us set up with parking. She also gave us an overview of the area and made recommendations for dining. The parking worked out great as it was only a block away and was easily accessed when we needed it.
We got an unexpected upgrade to a superior room on arrival, the room was really lovely. Right at the front of the hotel overlooking the centre of Skipton. Not loud with the window closed.
Spotlessly clean. Lovely big bath and warm room (fan if you need it) Toiletries and brew kit all good.Fresh milk always available from the bar.
x2 complementary drinks too :-)
The food and beer are excellent and the staff are lovely. A credit to Timothy Taylors.
One of the best small country hotels we have ever stayed in. Good location, on a main road a few miles outside Skipton, with ample parking. Hotel is a pub that has been recently completely renovated, it has a lovely restaurant that also serves breakfasts, food is excellent. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel is in the centre of Skipton with easy access to all amenities. Beautiful, winding staircase with fantastic skylight above. We booked the hotel as a base as it was our daughters wedding. The owner is a very friendly, helpful gentleman who was attentive and very accommodating to the bride’s needs.
Lovely entrance hall very quirky which we love fresh flowers from the garden very welcoming.
Room was decorated to a high standard
Comfy bed with quality linen.
Hotel next door serving amazing food
Very good location quiet yet short walk to centre of Skipton
A lovely property located a short walk from the centre of Skipton. We were 4 adults with dogs and it was ideal for us (I think you would struggle to seat 6 adults comfortably in the lounge).
The house was beautifully decorated. Great location about a 6 minute walk into the centre of Skipton, plenty of off street parking , if no parking spaces left at the hotel.
The breakfast was good as was the evening meal we had on our arrival. The hotel location was excellent to walk into Skipton and for us to travel on the railway to Carlisle.
Great location with amazing views close to Skipton in quiet country area, Breakfast was great staff helpful and overall a great stay, Would recommend location and hotel
