Nice and clean, well equipped, short walk to the on site arcade and shop. Friendly host with good communication. Small additional fee for the dog which was reasonable, front area secure and fenced in. Really close to the beach where we managed to find some lovely sharks teeth. Few good shops. Kids and adults had a lovely stay. Will hopefully be back in the near future.

Great for location for getting food and chilling in the room.
Quiet at night.
Slept very well, comfy bed.
Staff were lovely when I checked in and made me feel safe as a solo female.
One of the only place I’ve checked in where it’s not been said out loud that the room is for one and the room number being spoken out loud for others to hear. It happens all the time BUT did not happen here and put me at such ease.

Great beach, and if you have kids then the pier is a good distraction if the weather is bad.
Love that at low tide you can walk from Walton all the way to Clacton on the sand.
Great pub The Victory - worth a visit.

Walton is a typical seaside place and has lovely sandy beaches just right for making sandcastles with the Grandchildren.
Plenty of lovely walks and loads on the pier for the kids to enjoy and adults too.

There is a lovely sandy beach where the tide goes out a long way, but also comes right up to the wall at high tide, so check the tide times.
There is a long promenade between Walton on the Naze and Frinton where you can walk along in front of all the beach huts. It would be nice if you could stop for a drink half way but there's nothing in between.
Frinton is my preferred choice to eat or to stay.

Lovely little seaside town with great walks on the Naze and to Frinton on Sea with colourful beach huts all along the way. We liked JoJo's where we had an extensive afternoon tea and the Naze tower with its eshibition floors and fab view from the top. Well worth the walk up!
