Stayed in a room with a shared pool situated in the garden. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were all inclusive and the food exceeded our expectations. We loved having our breakfast looking out over the sea. The sandy beach was gorgeous with very warm water and beautiful views of the sunset. Olympia is a 30 min drive away and we spent a fascinating morning visiting the site and museum.
Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia.

Very beautiful views from the hotel terrace on hilltop just 1 km up from town center. At arrival just after 12:00 got offered a drink while room was not ready (checkin at 15:00) but after drink I was able to enter my room in the nearby separate building. Walking down to Olympia offered some amazing sights and the site and museum are spectacular, especially the remains of the Zeus temple and the sculptures which stood on top of it. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with fresh strawberries. The hall of the hotel shows Olympian artefacts.

The genuine politeness of the staff. The hotel staff was exceptional. I consider this to be the greatest assess of this facility.
Just 15 minutes walk away from the sacred site of Ancient Olympia, this charming hotel offers quality rooms, complete with orthopaedic mattresses, for a comfortable stay in a peaceful area.

The owner and the staff were all excellent. The service was impeccable, the location of the hotel ideal, within walking distance of the museum - exceptional value for money proposition. Will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to Olympia.

Olympia is a large site, while very significant, it’s also a bit confusing to understand and is in some ways, underwhelming compared to other Greek sites. I wish we got the VR glasses that are rented to hep understand the site better as we walked through.

Obviously, the main reason to visit Olympia is fror the ancient ruins of the Stadium and surrounding artifacts. It is a full day to see everything. We didn't engage the audio guide, as it was a bit complicated with a pre-set-up and download. But I recommend going into the museum to see the model of the area as it was in use to more fully enjoy and identify the ruins. Walking under the arched tunnel into the stadium made the hair on my arms stand up - such an energy.

Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Considering its a small town it had all you could need.
The ancient archeological site is a must see for anyone interested in history and the museum is great also and a must see as well.
The town is cosy with everything walking distance and at night its something else with restaurants and bars and shops all lit up and vibrant plus wide tree lined streets that make it a pleasure to walk through.
I can definitely recommend it and maybe a stop over on the way to the Ionian islands.
Ohhh forgot to say that one of the nicest restaurants is Taverna Orestis where i had one of the nicest meals iv had in my 9 weeks in Greece i can highly recommend it.

One night stay is enough for visiting the Archeological Site and the Museums. The small the town has only two major streets, one with shady restaurants and the other with shops. You can fint not only the Olimpia museums but a small museum about Archimedes which is really worth to visit.
It is quite a long time to get to Olimpia from the direction of Corinth, but you can choose the slower route across the hills which hides lovely villages.

Olympia the site is amazing.
Olympia the site is amazing. It is a big site, so take a while to walk through. Olympia the town is very charming with lots af little shops and restaurants. Friendly people in the town, willing to engage in conversation
The hotel seems designed for large tour groups, but we felt very welcome as a couple. They accommodated our request for a top floor room that was lovely and roomy, the pool inviting and a great way to end the afternoon tour of ancient Olympia. It was nice to be only 10 minutes from the town and feel so delightfully remote. The bed was perfect. We didn’t get to the breakfast til near closing, but they treated us as if we owned the hotel. The breakfast was a huge buffet topped by the best extra strong cappuccino around.
The owner of the hotel was very welcoming. The hotel was clean, comfortable and within walking distance of the main shopping streets, the museums and the main archeological site. The owner recommended a nearby restaurant which turned out to be excellent. Breakfast was a buffet and included in the price. The shower was small but we chose that room vs a different one with a larger shower - it was not an issue for us.
-Location. Location. Location. Of you stay here, you don’t have to drive anywhere! All the sites were within a 10 min walk or less.
-Free access to the pool at Hotel Europa. Just a 4 min drive (or much longer walk) up the hill. Nice perk!
-We had a room with a balcony that faced the church, which was nice! Even our bathroom had access to the balcony, which made it easy to eliminate the steam after a shower.
Conveniently located in Olympia (although to be fair, Olympia is small and everything is convenient) at a budget price. Hotel Pelops is nothing fancy, but you get the feeling that it has hosted many visitors to the archaeological site over the years, and remains unchanged :) We really appreciated the little map the proprietor drew for us at check-in. Don't miss the Olympic torches in the breakfast room!
Damiano is a wonderful host, received us with a beautiful hospitality, provided us with recommendations regarding visiting the archeological site, helpful recommendations regarding dinner in nearby restaurants.
He bothered to call us to the parking that he reserved for us.
Comfortable beds.
We chose a back room, it was quiet and pleasant.
A pleasant and satisfying basic breakfast.
The staff were super friendly. The restaurant was great and extremely generous with complimentary dishes--some bruschetta as a starter and a fruit salad for dessert. The view from the restaurant was incredible. Next time we are in Greece we would love to go back and stay for a few days at Hotel Europa Olympia to relax by the pool and enjoy the good food and terrific accommodations.
The hotel is lovely. There owner met us at the door, and, took us to our rooms. He gave us a map and directions to the Olympia sites (which is within walking distance from the hotel). They also have an informational channel on the TV all about Olympia. A great extra touch. Definitely Recommend!
Kostas is the best owner we found in Greece! What an amazing experience he make and what kind and energetic is his way to communicate with guests. The place is quite central, very walkable to ancient Olympia and museums, we even didn’t had to use our car there.
great location near Olympia archaeological site but up on the hill and very peaceful. The pool was a great amenity in the hot weather. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The restaurant was one of the best we ate at for dinner.
This is a wonderful hotel with spacious rooms, a delicious breakfast and the most lovely, welcoming staff. The location is excellent, and there is plenty of parking across from the hotel.
