The studio was a few steps from the sea, although the beach was a short walk. The buildings were very new and and beautifully furnished. Our host Constantinos is a restaurant owner and although we paid for our breakfast, he brought us many extra dishes and it was all excellent and served open air on the beach. At the last minute I had to make some changes to my reservation and he was quick and responsive.

We visited Ano Diakopto during Helmos Festival, as we were looking for a nice apartment to rest and stay close to the sea and Kalavrita. We stayed at Diakopto because we wished to travel on the rack and pinnion railway that leaves from there. The hotel certainly met our needs for this because it is only a ten-minute walk from the railway station. The room was very comfortable with masses of room and and a good kitchen facility as well.
