Beautiful Farm House, hotel in Filiatra

Beautiful Farm House is a recently renovated apartment in Filiatra where guests can make the most of the garden and barbecue facilities.

We spent 3 amazing days in Beautiful Farm House. The place is really clean and comfortable, the view to the sea is magnificent, especially during dawn, the property is full of plants and you feel close to nature. The best part was meeting the hosts, Giorgos and Dimitra, who are amazing and really interesting people. They made us feel at home. The house is close to many beaches which we loved, many tavernas and after a 10 minutes drive you can either get to Filiatra or Marathopoli. We will definetely go back!

Filiatra, this is s small town of Messinia.

Filiatra, this is s small town of Messinia. The replica of the Eiffel Tower placed at the entrance of the town is the most notable tourist attraction in the area. Due to this replica the town is often called “the little Paris”. The replica is smaller than the original and it was built by the funding and the initiative of the homogeneous doctor Haralampos Fournarakis. The town is built on a green plain with olive trees and vineyards. There are marvelous beaches in the wider area and also many places to visit using Filiatra as a starting point. In the city, except the signal replica of the Eiffel Tower, you will also be astonished by the impressive main square of the town where you can see the famous clock that decorates the city and the Venetian fountain. In the area there are many medieval and especially byzantine monuments like the monastery of St. Christophorus, the historical Vlacherna monastery.
