The location was good - as we had a car and there was parking available. The manager was extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room on the second floor had a great view, we were upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast was basic, with nice homemade preserves, but it was good enough to start the day - with plenty of fresh coffee.

See my pervious review. Kimi is split between a charming old town up the mountain and a large port / beach area by the sea. It’s 5km by road between the two and 7 euros each way by taxi, so a car helps! Both areas have some great bars and restaurants. There are some fabulous beaches just outside town. Locals are charming and English is widely spoken. Well worth a visit!

The staff is very friendly and professional, helping you always with a smile. The rooms are super clean and spacious. The hotel is located 200m from the sea, so you can easily walk to the beach for a morning swim before having a delicious breakfast (try the seasonal fruit, especially the figues!). Despite the thunderstorm which hit Kymi in August we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the comfortable apartment. The check-in is simple and can be done at the well-supplied mini-market below.
