I marked facilities down as there is clear sign of electrical burning on the room electrical breakers and an unusedway was left uncovered this is a saftey hazard. That aside the staff were excelant, room was very conviently located at the harbour and it was clean and tidy. stayed one night as arrived after the last ferry.
Excellently located, just a short walk from the beach and Lido Waterpark, this large resort offers plenty of organized entertainment, large outdoor swimming pools and an all-inclusive package deal.

The property is well maintained, the room was very clean and well supplied. Socratis, the manager, is very prompt and helpful. The hotel is a bit off the main street so it is fairly quiet, yet it's less than 10 minute walk to the port and main area of Mastichari.

A pleasant seaside village but with more and more 'all -inclusive resorts' encroaching all the time. The locals still offer traditional shops and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.
The port offers regular ferries to Pothia on Kalymnos, so if you fancy a change of island it's easily done.

Proper Greek village, not just a holiday place.
Proper Greek village, not just a holiday place. Quiet but with plenty of restaurants and bars, mostly overlooking the sea. Huge sandy beach which is never crowded. Half Time pool bar on the edge of the village is great if you want a change from the beach, or watch some sport. Good size pool. Great place for a relaxing holiday with very friendly people.

Nice, small village, quiet, with shops, markets with fresh goods, restaurants and cafes. It is great to sit and drink frape while looking at the sea :) You´ll find a typical greek cuisine as well as the "european" one here. As it is a small place, it is very easy to get around. Sometimes due to the northern winds the beach can be pretty windy, there are buses to the south or a car rental. The best place for a trip to Kalymnos island. Mastichari is for the greek lovers :)

Tiny resort but a great beach, pale soft sand, and some decent places to eat. Looks a bit tired in parts.
Apparently it’s often windy on the north side of the island, so sea was quite rough, but as we went late April we probably saw it at its worst.
Really close to the airport so nice quick transfer & we didn’t notice the planes at all during our stay.
Also only 15/20 mins drive to Antimachia Castle and other beaches.
We spent 2 nights here and it was enough as the weather wasn’t nice enough to sunbathe so we moved around the island.

Lovely sleepy fishing town turned mini tourist village without being too touristy. Beach was full of seaweed but not sure if that was a symptom of the end of the season. The bars and restaurants along the beach were lovely, and the little lanes of shops too.

Mastichari was a short ride by public bus from the Horizon Beach Resort where we were staying. The little town has souvenir shops and a very nice beach. It is a pleasant place to have a drink in one of the taverns along the beach.
Traditional House Marivilla is the most beautiful place we stayed at in Kos island and we highly recommend it! Lovely, quiet, with a big garden, three terraces, clean, sunny and airy, nicely furnished, you´ll find everything you need for a great holiday. Very comfortable mattresses in both bedrooms, spacious open plan living room, a lot of storage places. It is maybe 15 min walking distance from Mastichari with restaurants, shops and a ferry to Kalymnos island, a big supermarket is only 10 min away. We´ll definitely come back!
Sokratis was a fantastic host. He was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and delicious every single morning with eggs, fresh bread, fresh pastries, delicious cake, fruit, yogurt and honey. There is bar for drinks in the evening. The location is good - a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach and great restaurants. It is also near a pool with a bar with great food and drink. Uou can hire a car for a very reasonable price. Would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit to Kos.
I enjoyed the free upgrade to a sea view room, I was conveniently placed in the room next door to my friends which might have been a coincidence when we booked separately.
The gym was very well equipped and I liked that the treadmills were faced to a view of the property and not a wall or mirror.
The room was very new and well-designed.
Breakfast had so many options.
Staff was super helpful and even though the resort was closing for the season the next day everyone was so friendly and happy to help.
Early May we stayed at this resort style hotel with three families. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodations were completely to our satisfaction. The food offered was exceptional for an all-inclusive stay. The presentation, cleanliness and service was beyond expectations. To get around you need a car rental. Smy Kos has two pools and a beach; all very well equipped. The water was cold so we did not get in much. We really recommend this hotel offering great value for money.
great location for familly with children, good near hotel beach (sunbets for 5 euros per day), very good serviced and clean (sunbets cleaning every day). beautiful sunset every day.
food in hotel is very very good
perfect cleaning service in room every day.
from hotel drives bus to city Kos every day.
weather in september was beautiful, little bit windy.
staff on hotel reception very nice (one lady from czech)
hotel zoo for kids
beautiful holiday for family with children
The staff are so friendly and hard working. The resort is immaculate and wonderfully run with beautifully manicured gardens. We loved the half board option and used the bars and beach club for lunch. We spent the day in either 1 of the 4 fabulous pools, at the lovely sea which the hotel sits on, kayaking, horse riding at Erika’s or using the gorgeous relaxing SPA facilities. A perfect week.
Very nice accommodation, with everything you need for a family trip. Spacious rooms with A/C, nice kitchenette, little balcony with clothesline.
Staff is kind and helpful, but make sure to tell them when you'll arrive.
It's 10-12 min walk from the bus stop Mastichari, but if you have luggage, I recommend taking a taxi.
There is a lovely beach 350/400 m away.
Our flight was delayed. I rang to explain and the owner waited up for us until after 12.00 midnight. We chose the location because we were travelling on a ferry from Mastahari the next day. Unfortunately, the ferry broke down two days before! The location would have been great for that ferry … but we then had to travel to Kos Town to get a different ferry!

The apartment was eqiped with mosquito nets, bathroom was very good for a 3star hotel, also balcony was very big. Very quiet neighbourhood but in a centre, 5mins to the beach. Owners were very friendly. I was positively surprised by the app equipment (good shower, new aircondition, good building...) based on lower category of hotel.
The hotel is really nice. During our stay there were not many guests because of covid situation. But everything was available (pools, bars, restaurant). Food is delicious. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Beach is near. You can get into the water via pier or direct. The sunshades with beach chairs was free.
This is perhaps one of the most underrated properties in Kos. The amenities, the cleanliness, and the ownership are all off the charts. I would say, without a doubt this property is one of the best values you’ll ever find anywhere.
Studios are very clean and lovely. The host Athena is exceptionally caring and friendly. Just 1-2 minutes walk to the restaurants, supermarket, kite beach (or beach in general). Balcony with sea view to enjoy breakfast...
Wonderful views from the restaurant & bar and most rooms.
Attractive layout to the hotel, 3 pools, right on a small beach.
Great choice buffet breakfast. Also good at dinner, if you have to stay in. Friendly staff.
The apartment was clean, modern and has everything you will need for your stay. The owners live next door and are there to help when requested. Location is a 5-10 minute walk to beaches, restaurants, stores etc.
I stayed there in mid-April and it was really quiet, it only takes a few minutes walk to the beach and bars. Sokratis is a very helpful host and serves good breakfast!
