Goa Walet Cottage is located a little outside of Tetebatu but this makes it quieter and feel more remote. Plus the scooter drive to Tetebatu from here is one of the most beautiful I’ve done during my travels. It really is a stunning location surrounded by jungle and the locals are all so friendly.
I didn’t hear the mosque during the night, all I did hear was the sounds of flowing water and occasional birds singing. The hut itself is cosy and there’s even a ‘boyfriend pillow’ to cuddle if you’re solo travelling like me!
