This is a very charming boutique hotel in Slane. The restaurant is quite good, and room 4 has a great mattress! Nice size room for 1 or 2 people. There is parking down the alley.

The staff at Cabra Castle couldn't be kinder, and made us feel so welcome. The room was beautiful, bed was so comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was delicious.
The Hotel Imperial is in Dundalk town center, close to all the major attractions and shops, bars and restaurants. It has free parking, modern bars and coffee shop.

It was conveniently located in town. They had free parking which was nice in town. The reception was wonderfully helpful and pleasant. The room was quiet and dark, especially being so close to everything.

This area has a lot of history, but I dont think the local firms / council use it to its full potential. It is a very old town, the area has a lot of history, but very little has been written/or is still in publication .
Very friendly people, we met a number of people including Louth County Library (Dundalk), RC Church in Ardee and others that were very helpful in finding family information - they helped set up appointments so that we could chat with other people - we cant thank them enough.
