Very friendly people who gave us lots of information about walking and even dropped us carless women at the start of the walk in Ballyhoura and collected us without charging us anything. All the archeological sites and beautiful churches were a unexpected bonus.fenne - 10Scored 10

They are doing a little bit of renovations but there isn't any disruption to the guests. The rooms are huge and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at Deerburt hotel that was recommended by the owners. Excellent food for breakfast. Hot coffee or tea, fresh fruit, toast and a variety of pastries. Simon and Nicky were great from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was better than any other place we stayed at during our tour. The four poster bed was worthy of a palace, and the bedroom bigger than the ground floor of some houses!

We were travelling to Cork for a concert, we were told the best route to take into the city to get to the car park we were parking in.. not many would tell you! The staff were all so kind and friendly. Also the breakfast was so tasty,, wish we could have stayed for dinner
