This is a very charming boutique hotel in Slane. The restaurant is quite good, and room 4 has a great mattress! Nice size room for 1 or 2 people. There is parking down the alley.

The hotel was so cute and well done. The walls are a little thin, but that is typical. We did hear people coming and going but nothing we couldn’t live with. The bar was well done and it seemed like a hangout for some of the locals. The reception went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get to and from the hotel to a local bar in Drogheda. She politely answered all of our American questions such as, “do we tip our bartender” she laughed and told us not to.

The Hotel Imperial is in Dundalk town center, close to all the major attractions and shops, bars and restaurants. It has free parking, modern bars and coffee shop.
