The serene and welcoming landscapes. But absolutely everything was wonderful. From Tomas(spelling) at the front desk was so accommodating and helpful all the way through to the end of our stay.

The location was good but very noisy outside, the hotel leaves early plugs in the bathroom so that says enough

The room clean and quiet. Staff wonderful.

Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so not really for tourists. However it is easily accessible to the city center by bus and also you can take a 15 minute or so walk to the Luas (light rail system) which also brings you to the city center or even Dundrum shopping center which has cinemas, restaurants and mini golf for those rainy days with the kids.

Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history.
Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history. Easy to reach from the N11 coming from the Motorway. Area is lovely and peaceful, had to stay there because of the nearby Embassy which is reachable by walking.

The room was very run down and very old fashioned.
The room was very run down and very old fashioned. Dont know how it has a 5 star rating. I've stayed in 4 star nicer and more modern than it. The noise level was crazy. People from a wedding going in and out if eachothers rooms through the night. We reported it by phone to the duty manager. He offered us a different room but that long into the night we just didn't want too. He also said there was no noise so it was like he was saying we were lying. Put at a drafty terrible table for dinner. Asked to be moved.told no and then witnessed other residents being moved when they asked could they. Will not return.

your hotel was hopeless no heating,no soap liquid or other, ridiculous position of Tea coffee machine and kettle, Italian restaurant only. Had to walik through a kids play area with suitcases to get to elevator. No stopping at front of hotel so long walk with luggage. Breakfast area all chopped up with pillars not enough seats.

I booked the Stillorgan hotel as it was close to our daughter who rents near by and she was able to pick us up and we all travelled together to the musical Grease in Bord Gáis, most enjoyable. Then we all met again for breakfast in the hotel the next morning. So a most enjoyable and convenient time was enjoyed by all.
The staff here are what makes this hotel exceptional. From front desk, to bar, to the lovely John taking care of us in the morning and during our breaks (I was on a course at the hotel) - every single staff member did their utmost to make us feel welcome and cared for. Kudos to them in these challenging times - running hospitality in a pandemic is no easy task - their care and attention to detail as well as to our safety was very much appreciated!
Room was spacious, bed large and comfortable with table
sofa and chair
Large bathroom
Tea and coffee facility.
Breakfast was a self service buffet, but eggs were made to your specific wants, no vegetarian sausage but
vegan sausage provided was really good.
The Aircoach stop to and from airport right outside the hotel,
Transport around Dublin is fantastic.
Very happy and would use this hotel again.
Loved the hotel, the whole property is on a beautiful location. A very grand entry, lovely foyer and reception area. My room was excellent, a beautiful king sized bed in a nice large room. All the staff that I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered room service, and the food was superb! Loved the free car park too. Was in a great location for where I needed to be.
Has a GoCar Base in the Carpark (Pay as You Go Car Hire) and location for me is easy to get everywhere I need. Dublin Bus 46a, 47, 145, 155 all pass and stop outside, also the 7b & 7d. Aircoach 700 service. Easy to get bus to Galloping Green for Aircoach 702 Service if needed. A short walk, or drive, to Stillorgan SC for McDonalds and other cafe, restaurents, shops and a Tesco’s.
Would have been great to have had more cooked vegitarian options.
Very slow check in with no available rooms. In the end had to ask for any available room to the same specification as had been ordered. Card keys needed re-charging/allocating to rooms most times even though kept away from phones which is worth looking at.
Lovely stay though and lovely hotel
Lovely ambience and garden. Real old world. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Powerful shower with ample stable hot water even on the top floor. Very comfortable beds - good night's sleep. Staff pleasant and helpful. A little bit out of town but in a lovely part of south Dublin. Nice local villages nearby.
The hotel is absolutely outstanding, with amazing staff and the rooms are clean and comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is clean and stocked with shampoo and soap. The surroundings are beautiful, there is a huge garden with a waterfall. The hotel itself is like a castle.
The hotel was exceptionally clean..only thing I noticed was discarded vape on the window sill outside was there when we arrived and still there when we left..but inside was spotless..staff excellent and great value. No rip offs like other Dublin hotels well done
The gardens and grounds were lovely. The restaurant setting was nice. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice. The hotel was in a good location to the hospital, where we were visiting. There was lots of free parking. The bed was comfy.
The breakfast was exceptional, even my children liked it and they are very picky eaters. The surroundings and the hotel garden was beautiful and tranquil. Our room was quiet and the bed very comfortable.
The room is clean and roomy. There was an iron and ironing board, which is a plus. The location is great for going to and from the airport as the aircoach bus stop is right infront of the hotel.
We were dropping our daughter at UCD so easy access using the bus. Also easy walk to stillorgan village for shopping and dinner. Also the restaurant was very good with vegan options.
A bit old but still high-quality and classy hotel offering a good value for your stay. Breakfast was unbelievable. Also not to miss, an evening in the orangerie bar; it was charming.
